I'm usually cool with Papa Stanimus. But I disagree with him saying teens can be wild. That she bore some of the responsibility. FFS. She's still a kid regardless if the convo was consensual like Dic respect said. That's when an adult should recognize the destructive behavior and set them straight. Tell the kids they have worth and to stay away from adults. That was the moment she needed for an adult to guide her, not groom her. Yes teens can make choices. But it's the adults duty not to take advantage of the situation. Four years Twitch and Dic respect kept this quiet. Twitch definitely deserves some blowback too.

I am sure there are lots of twitch gamers talking to minors. the problem is the conversation that was had that is the problem and innapropriate. if you as an adult have a kid messaging you for a question about a game your playing, would you ignore them or give them an answer. the problem is he did not just give that answer he said a lot of things he shouldn't have and tried to arrange a meeting at twitchcon.

​@@LickymaballsTbf, the very minute I find out that one of my viewers is a minor, I ban them from my chat. My target audience is not and never will be anyone that is a minor. I put 18+ in my stream titles and minors DNI on my Twitter. I do not want ANYTHING to do with minors because I do not want to even accidentally send something inappropriate to someone whose age I don't know. So personally, yeah, I'd ignore them and ban them. There are plenty of streamers that are minors that they can go watch.
