Today is a difficult day for me because my granddaughter’s birthday is tomorrow, she will be five, and I have not been allowed to see her. It’s been five months. I was listening to the scriptures while fasting and praying for my Mother, other family members and people in General last night, and I noticed not only a change in the people who are around me and myself, but my Mother. I said, after experiencing a stroke twelve years ago, I refuse to give up on what God says. Today, m weight is 105.13 lbs, 18 BMI which I still find hard to believe because I have so little body fat. I can't pinch an inch., BP 115/72 and pulse 73.

Claudia, I understand what you are experiencing, I too am surrounded by very negative people, some say they are saved, yet are conforming to their surroundings. You know if you don't conform your reputation is shredded, totally torn apart. All you can do is trust God will bring you out. So be encouraged, God see and know. Realizing I'm in a state of self absorption after so many years of trying to have a beautiful family, let me humbly ask you to pray for me. I'm 54 and find myself having worked on my roommates problems which are worth praying for, but I neglected what I wanted when I first got here, which was reconnecting with my children's, now 18 and 22. I am personally responsible, I understand, but it is excruciating to see that I robbed my children and myself of having a mother during their high school years. I am hateable,because I kept drinking as a coping mechanism, and I keep trying to change, but it feels all too late to really bond with the children I love. This conversation reaches me. Experiencing life with God and realizing quantum mechanics makes time and space variable, not linear For me, points towards God every time. As a Catholic, the priest will recite" The mystery of Faith" during our Mass. This always resonates with me, and is far to big for humans to grasp... It tells me that worship is not about what you can expect from it, it is about the relationship deepening with God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost.

Lots of good points. I found myself trying to block Dr Leafs interruptions in order to fully absorb what Priscilla had to say. When there are guests my mind expects questions from the interviewer and answers from the interviewee sans numerous interruptions. My brain has a hard time with this.

Too often we pray a quick prayer when someone comes our way but really they are begging for a listening ear and if we're regularly connected with Father in our own prayer life, we will be more in tune with what someone REALLY needs.
