Thank you so much!!! The thumbnails are almost ALWAYS the hardest part about videos honestly. We try and plan them out as much as we can. Thankfully some of our drone footage gave us a good enough shot of the castle to work with. It's always so much fun creating them & we were PUMPED about this one! Just a tad!!!!🤣 We kept talking about how this region of Romania has to be the perfect place to spend the month of October in. Normally we try and show a ton of things to see in a particular location but like Hannah said, there's really not a whole lot to do in Bran outside of the castle. U should def. visit Oradea and Sibiu u we be amazed of the architecture there in those towns. Or if u have more time try take a tour to Constanta at the sea side or the ancient salt mine from Turda or Transfagarasan Highway, voted best road in the world by Top Gear. To many things to see in Romania u need months ^^

You're ABSOLUTELY right on that. Next time we visit, we're planning on staying at minimum one month to see even more of the country. We were there 16 days and it was nowhere near long enough. We didn't even get to go towards the Black Sea. But it all just means that we have to come back and I can guarantee we will. Romania's such an awesome place. Nice!!! We loved the little town. It's nice and compact. You really can see all of it in a day. Romania's full of surprises honestly. We had no idea we'd love it as much as we did!!

Oh my gosh Monica, I can't even begin to explain how incredible Romania is!! We spent a few weeks there & fell in LOVE!!! It's absolutely stunning, & has so many beautiful cities to explore. We always say this was the country that really turned our heads the most. Hands down the most underrated country we've ever visited, & it feels like it's only a matter of time until the whole world finds out just how incredible it is!

bran is a great place to eat they are famous for their long history of shepherding and they camp with sheep for the summer months in the nearby mountains like Bucegi...the cheese gets sold in the local bran restaurants for tourists as well as meat and milk

That's so awesome!!! That's one thing that we've noticed that's DEFINITELY different from the United States. Back in the USA, in most cities & towns you won't really find locally produced dairy. Everyone essentially just gets their dairy from a store like Wal-Mart or another larger grocer. Whereas here people really lean on local markets & their community. It's so different from what we're used to but man, we absolutely love it. Thank you so much for watching our video!!!!

If we're being honest Eric, I absolutely hate them too. But that's the thing. Literally NOTHING makes Hannah uncomfortable or nervous. She's so go with the flow that I can't ever find anything that she's not up for. Well, except a haunted house😂 It also gave us something else to add to the vlog outside of just the castle. There isn't exactly a TON to do in Bran🤣 Thank you so much for watching Eric!!

She did so great!!! We both really don't like haunted houses but nothing really gets her outside of her comfort zone because she's so open to just about anything! @@ProbablyLost just wanted to say a quick congratulations on getting married and doing this trip too! Best start to your life together. We’ve been married for 17 years (it’s the best!) and have always prioritised travel, so much so that we decided to work our asses off and retire early at 43 and 47 and travel the world for as long as we can. We might return to work life, who knows, but we aren’t keen to wait till we’re old and less capable to do it. We have a couple of investments for an income and savings and are determined ti make it work! First stop, Europe next year, you’ll probably be done but I have a feeling you’ll both have the travel bug and may not be able to really ‘settle’🙃. I’ve almost caught up to real time in your videos, you’re both great to watch, I hope you’ll keep going. All the best.

@@connie.sawtell OMG CONNIE THANK YOU😭 Marriage has been such a blast. We came up with the decision to travel full-time to see if we could make something out of it for ourselves & we definitely feel like we have. Although our year is wrapping up soon, it's been the best decision we've ever made & has completely opened us up to other ways of living. I think after this year we've learned that people are more or less far more similar than we ever thought. Be it England, Bosnia, or Romania, for the most part everybody is generally very nice as long as you begin your interaction with them with a smile. When you guys head out on your big adventure, just keep that in mind & you'll really never have an issue at all. HUGE congrats on making it to the point to where you're getting ready to do this too!! It's so worth the hard work & sacrifice. We know we'll be back in Europe for a wedding in France in October so hopefully our paths cross!!!😊

Just got back from Bucharest today and was at Bran Castle yesterday. Save your money and don't bother going into the castle, it's just not worth it. Better off walking around the market and the outside of the castle

brother romania has reputation for alot stuff like vampire werewolf all the stuff i believe it the goverment hide things i believe the castle belong to dracula not for nothing histories still there. when i was lil kid i remember my parent told me histories about elf. i grow up knowing they was just histories. they real thats why i believe

Bran Castle is kind of overrated and a tourist trap but it's a nice castle none the less. Vlad was actually stationed there when he was employed in the Hungarian Army. Hence the title of Graf (Count).
