It's really said to think about y/n story really. Like according to the first ep of the doc series we didnt have any friends or family so when we finally had someone that cared about us even in not a healthy way it's still the first form of love we received in a very long time and we just wanted to make harriet happy because she gave us a reson to live even if that means killing people

Idk about anyone else, but rather than a romantic relationship between Harriet and the Demon Hybrid it’s more of a hybrid connection of mentor/mentee and familial (and yes pun intended). If you think about the Dragon Hybrid’s past from what was revealed they didn’t have any friends or family, so they were living a pretty lonely life for who knows how long. And as for Harriet she really didn’t have anyone that she’s felt mattered to her since her own mentor. So as twisted as their origins together were, overall it was a win-win situation for them both. The Dragon Hybrid has someone in their life again who cares for them and who they want to make proud, and Harriet reforms another connection with someone under her wing instead. Don’t get me wrong I love the romantic development that’s grown from Eve, Sasha, and Eris with their respective supernatural creatures. But I just don’t see the same for Harriet and the Dragon Hybrid, and I just hope they can both work on getting their connection to a better place.
