Yeah the show isn’t about Zym anymore it’s about Aaravos now which is totally interesting…

Well, it is called "The Mystery of Aaravos" now, and besides, Zym was always more of a living MacGuffin in the first seasons than an actual character, so the shift in focus to the main villain makes sense from that angle.
