Having gone overseas and viewed castles, chateaus and regal homes, the decor reflects the era that Terry is achieving. Bravo. Your chateau will really be something special in the years to come. I checked out images for Regency interiors on Google and can see where the inspiration comes from.

Yes Ash! I love it. I was just about to comment about the centre piece of the bed canopy………then POW! Terry it looks wonderful, with just the right amount of gold. Tracey what a hard grafter you are with such patience. I hope Terry is being very tongue in cheek with that wide grin when he says I’ll just leave Mum to gold painting. 😂. Love the more minimalist look for the panels in the other room, looking forward to seeing them with the wallpaper on. ❤❤❤❤

I am just amazed at the treasure you have in interior paneling throughout the building!!!! Many other chateau’s seem to have lost these features over time and probably salvage pirates doing their thing!!! Use a beauty blender to paint gold... its soft and has sharp edge, half the time to do.. thats how i did my tiny edges

I would recommend putting the wall paper up first. 1 it will be easier to hang and 2 the moldings will secure the edges so the paper will stay fastened securely. You all are amazing.❤

Hats off to Trace on this entire suite as I fear her eyes might cross permanently from all the gold detailed painting! The new MDF panels are lovely....simple and smart. I would love to know the brand and the color of the trim in the salon room.......such a lovely taupe! Carry On! Cheers!
