U.K. GT4 RS used prices have already dropped to £150k, that’s $188,000 - these things are depreciating. That colour looks like Gemini Blue Matt. Would like to see you do a build video of a GT3 Touring again, to see what you would do differently ordering again.

Unfortunately ,the UK market is completely irrelevant for the US market. All GT cars (really Porsches in general) in the UK can be had at SIGNIFICANTLY under the US market average. It kills me looking at worldwide sales data and seeing UK sales as outliers 20%+ below the average.

I did white with Weissach package on my GT4RS with satin neodyme wheels. Taking European delivery in March. Super pumped!

Love these series. Keep in mind, the magnesium wheels can only be painted white gold metallic. Think that would be a great contrast to the artic gray.

Hey Matt, Yes, that was me about the seat inserts. We have a black GT4 RS, Deep Sea Blue interior, and we received the stock Seat Inserts inside a little Porsche Bag. I can send you pictures if interested. In my opinion, it looks great! The look of the driver seat being different gives it a cool look. And also the seat cushion is a little bit more aggressive, might be more comfortable for mountain driving. Edit: One thing to point out though is the 3D Printed Cushions are not fully Deep Blue Sea (Like the passenger seat), it's only the 3D Printed mesh that comes in Blue. So if you look at the picture of the seat you can see yellow Mesh on the back rest sides and mesh on the seat. That mesh will be blue. The rest of the chair is black. So the seats will be very different, but I think it looks great.

Saw a video from Bilpleiekongen in Norway were they mentioned Obsessed Garage and Matt as the worlds best and knowledgeable re; Krantzle and Mosmatic. Kudos! Because of you they developed a Mosmatic for their products. You are making an impact around the world. All the best guys!

Love the spec. I do love those gold metallic wheels better, but I think the car has enough black accents and carbon fiber for the black satin wheels to work. I'm not a big fan of black wheels since they get hidden. I like my wheels to pop and contrast. The blue wheels are unique. They'd probably look great against white or a light grey exterior color. The interior is sick!

Matt, I think a viper would be a cool car to see on the channel. Considering you like gt3s/gt4s , a big NA v10 in a track focused car would be your down lane. To see your personal "Dial in verison" would probably gain alot of attraction.

Matt, I think the induction noise from this thing - since it’s *directly behind your head in the cabin* - would make you giggle like a school girl. But you have to be above 7k rpms.

Wow! That 50th Anniversary 911 is a gorgeous spec. Also I’m not sure why so many people who have already ordered the GT4RS do not opt the PDLS headlight, it completely changes the look of the car for the better. If I was to ever order one I would get paint to sample, Signal Orange. I know not your flavor Matt, but the 718s looks amazing in signal orange for some reason.

Love these videos! You just went through exactly what I go through on the GT4RS. The GT4RS is cool, until you start looking at limited production manual 911’s. It seems like the GT4RS is for the guy who has all the 911’s he wants, but wants to buy another Porsche. They are probably going to be short term cars in most guys garage.

I’m sorry but you cannot order a GT for RS anymore. They stopped production plus the paint sample has been frozen for all 911s.

Just an idea, and I think I have said this before, but I feel like the car modding part of this channel could be huge if you went through more obtainable cars. I get you are financially past the 60k performance cars and I'm not saying to ditch the higher end stuff, but statistically speaking most of your viewers aren't in a position to buy a gt4rs or lotus. Watching the m2 cs and Porsche mod videos was fun, but it would be even more fun watching you mod a car I could currently own. For example a rs3, golf r, gr Corolla, mustang, etc kind of cars. You used to kind of do this with your employees cars, but would love to see this make a comeback.

Interesting idea but I don’t think Matt or the channel is really into modding cars like that. There are certain upgrades he always does but they are mainly basic things. Also, there are already a number of other channels that cover the modding scene.

@@555fourthstreet8 I mean yes and no. Don't you think the modding of his cars feels basic nowadays because you know exactly what he's going to do? For example if he gets a GT4RS I can guarantee it will get a dundon exhaust. Plus, they are on the basic side because there isn't much to do to a $250k performance oriented car. I miss the tinkering personally. Edit: And most other channels don't mod like Matt would. They order 1 thing, that was most likely given to them by a sponsor, and no matter what it's good enough and they move on to the next thing.

I know you had a lot of troubles with the Brewster paint to sample polishing and correcting wise. Is that the reason you won’t do it again ? I know it’s spending other people’s money which is easy but to me seems like 11k extra to get the exact colour you want on a car you plan on keeping forever seems like decent enough value

I have some friends on the inside that know more than I do about the painting process used. PTS is done in an off-site facility that is not equipped to handle the volume, so cars are not getting the quality job you'd want. They keep raising the price to slow the volume. Unless Porsche does something different and builds a new facility, I won't be doing PTS again. I'd imagine cars are sitting outside and not being treated the same as at the normal factory.

I know it’s not a huge factor for you, Matt, but the striped cars have been getting delayed quite a bit (3-6 months). Given you had the touring stuck for a while, worth flagging…

Weissach is ugly on the 4RS without the center hood/spoiler painted IMO. Also, the LWB's suck ass. They are just too upright and uncomfortable. Egress and ingress is a PITA. The side bolsters wear prematurely and excessively. If they were great everyone wouldn't be buying angle brackets, bolster protectors, and P1 inserts. It's just people go nuts for exposed CF. Sofas are very popular now a days. Sofas are rare any many buyers (including myself) want them. And they support my body type much better. Also, the DSB stitching color is a very unattractive blue in person, especially the door pulls which looks dirty. I switched to Arctic grey after seeing DSB in person. Arctic grey stitching looks much better.
