This is magnificent. Your transition of focus from Guitar to Piano has been amazing. I have been following every track with a smile and pride, having followed your music since very early on. I am a fair bit older than you, but in this exact moment as I listen to this and write, I look up to you.

Well done my friend! The score was beautiful and the panels you added fit the emotional feel the music evoked.

A friend told me to read Daytripper, I'm definitely going to have to check it out. This was beautiful, and based on the panels you edited in, your music really seems to fit nicely :)

When I saw the title, I expected a Beatles homage. Instead, I got MANY FEELS.

I love it! :D It reminds me of a Resident Evil song for some reason...? :P Anyways, great job Jake! Keep up the good work you're awesome! :D

Wow, beautifully done! I think the music really added to the panels you showed. I think I tend to not be much of a reader and prefer videos and video games instead, and one of the main reasons may be because they have music. Adding music gives more of an emotional connection for me, and I think if I could read something with music along with it like this it would actually make me connect more.

Beautiful. Really impressive way of appropriating an existing piece of work and recreating it. Not only does it fit, it ADDS to the original. I'd be curious to see what you would be able to do with the additional constraint of timing (say, over an existing video for instance).

Beautiful piece man! What are you using for the solo violin, that sounded especially good! Also, be sure to watch your levels, there was a bit of clipping during the louder sections :)
@jam299510 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! I actually deleted this video to re-upload it with the volume turned down, but I still experienced the issue. Playing the song and video on my computer, I had no problem. The clipping never even showed up until I uploaded it to KZbin, and even after I tried to resolve it, it was still there. Made me sad. :-/

Darn man, I've had some similar issues with YT, though mostly compression occurring during uploading! It's a shame that that kind of stuff happens. Great stuff regardless man!

Awesome like always! You should play the Wolf Among Us. It has a graphic novel art style and has a great similar soundtrack.

jam2995 I'm listening to this again, and it's still so amazing. I really want you to make more video game covers, you've been my biggest inspiration ever since you uploaded your Bowser's Theme cover 4 years ago. I've been in love with everything you've done ever since, I love all your covers, collabs, albums, and I still remember that Vokle live stream you did. I really want you to make some more content soon.

Christian Richardson Aw, Christian that means so much. Thanks for staying with me through the years! I'll definitely be releasing some covers this summer since I'll be off of school. I've been busy but I'm not gone for good! I really appreciate all the support, truly. :)

Hey Jake, I asked my french teacher if we could do a project like this. She said it was a cool idea but she doesn't know how she would evaluate it. Do you know how your teacher did it? Sorry if I made any mistakes. You are awesome!
@jam299510 жыл бұрын
Lama Blah Hey! So the grading was based on your ability to connect to the book/story, your ability to create something new based on the book, and also your creativity. It wasn't a strict grading rubric, but those factors were rated on a scale that translated to your grade. Does that answer your question? If you have any other questions feel free to ask. :)
