Honestly, I think they're fine now. Why they've been relegated this year is just because they were overperforming because Bielsa was such a top class manager and they've succumb to the huge gap between the Premier League and Championship. People forget they only came back up in 2020, and did well to stay 3 seasons.

Probably not. In 2018, the rest of the group was young and France were in the way. By 2020, whilst England don’t have a midfielder like De Bruyne, they’d improved the midfield massively but could argue he could’ve been the difference v Italy. Bellingham could prove to be better than him in the long run
