These videos are so impressive, the editing, filming and presentation is top quality. This craft is very interesting, since the process is done by hand the craftsman can make endless design changes so quickly

Fascinating. How do they make sure the block hits the right spot each time? Is it just experience?

Yeah, it's just experience. And to go with that speed without mistakes is impressive.

this is amazing. the way you explain it, your voice and the editing everything's just perfect. I see a lot of traditional art and businesses from all over the world definitely the ones that are really in danger of going out of business and handcraft products, but never from Iran. thank you so much for giving us these amazing videos and preserving the history.

Very interesting channel, I'm glad that I found you. Maybe you will be able to answer the question. I can't find anything on ceramic tails. I'm not looking for china, mugs and plates etc., but specifically the tails that you can apply to the wall. The tails used to decorate masques in Iran are imported, or they are produced in Iran?
@Narcis_HostelАй бұрын
Thank you for your comment. The tiles are made in Iran. there are actually two kinds of tilework. we will try to make a video about this since it's a very interesting topic and unique art :)

Tell me about tea in Iran. Where it comes from, how it's processed, how it fits into Iranian culture

Tell me how you manage to use successively 4 different colors without having any mixed overlap messy results to the point of complete failure due to the successive superposition of 4 différents "patch" by handcraft, which inherently are very difficult to performed without advanced technology to avoid the messy result of this operation. Then Secondly, are these techniques a special persian or iranian know-how or was the technique inherited from asian countries like china and then out-performed in Iran?
@Narcis_Hostel15 күн бұрын
For your first question I think it takes years of practice to know how to manage the work for it to not get messy. Also different stamps are used which make it possible for the colors not to overlap. However in more complex pattern they fix the colors after applying two colors and continue the work like this. Also the drum that you can see in the video makes the color apply evenly. And for the second question, this art originates from east Asia from countries like India but the patterns and this kind of handprinting developed in Iran. So in countries like India and Pakistan you can see a completely different work from what you see in Iran.
