i was a DJ i knew Trix and still am a dj , there was many i night i was sat on stage sat in awe of him while pilling my head of , but fair does to him he likes the mixes i put out .. i still in contact now he moved down south , my mixes are more DnB style he was 1989 Euro DMC champion

@@djcuts3628 yeh he was defo a one off trix like with his mixing and tunes that he played. He was like one of us (a raver) if you know what I mean. You had some DJ's who thought they was the dogs bollocks and thought they were better than you. We went back to a house party after the drome one night in new brighton and he come walking in , just like one of the lads , all be it a little bit strange but not in a bad way.👌👍 I just think he was a bit eccentric.

@@eddiekeato i know what u mean 1st time i met him he was playing a set at the strawberry in ellesmere port , he was sat with with us most of night having a beer that was before he won the Euro DMCs , he was propper down to earth guy (that was around yr or 2 b4 he started playing at the drome , he was a hip hop dj same as i was at time must of been around 89) he had just made the UK finals of DMC

@@djcuts3628 yeh I've seen the videos of him in the dmc comp. Dont care what anyone says but I dont think you can be taught how to mix like that. It's just a talent that you've either got or you havent . Like football, everyone can play football to a certain degree , but most people dont become footballers . Same with djing some people can dj but not to his extent ,no matter how much someone taught me how to dj , me and 99% of people will never get to his level. It just came natural to him or that's how I seen and heard it ,wish I could go back to them days ,you dont realise at the time how good it was . 👍
