Excellent film! A real diamond in the ruff! The military dude was probably either a Royal Marine, a Special Boat Service (SBS) operator, or a Special Air Service (SAS) operator. Regular Army and Navy personnel aren't trained to be as effective in hand-to-hand combat vs. multiple aggressors as he clearly was.

@@suzysandor3131 Hi Suzy, well, to answer your question, many people are not educated in , nor do they have the capacity to understand or appreciate metaphor , character development , plot and exploration of the complexity of human behavior ; therefore exploration, in regards to the the duplicity of the human experience can be confusing and foreign to them .. Some people need to be walked through film in a very formulaic way.. i.e. the average Hollywood film . When one does not comprehend complex films it can be a matter of lack of exposure to film, low intellect and/ or poor emotional intelligence…
