11:28 I've started to save a kit with each bank, and each bank gets it's own column of saves. Like, Bank A is saved to slot 1-8, Bank B in 9-16, etc. It's not perfect, but it AT LEAST somewhat eliminates the nonsense of what goes to where when I want to make a new thing😋

Thanks for the great video. I am tempted to get triple oscillator sub to pick up your patches:) Your work is great and for that price, entire machine full of patches at that price is a bargain, plus supporting your work ofc. One thing, I checked the video till the end since I left earlier - and i noticed you mentioned you would like more lfos- you can actually get your Oktatrack and send midi lfo to ANY parameter on Rytm (I am sure you know this, just thinking out loud) - just check implementation chart as these lfos work through MIDI only. Ofc this would include multiple devices in a setup, but still, its a nice add-on in case you really want to have more than one lfo per track (well, this would make it 4 per track, for 8 tracks). And then, parameter locking and modulating one lfo with another... goes even further. Also, I dont think enough users of the rytm exploit Double VCO mode - there are so many options, oscillator types and modes with ring modulation and frequency modulation (or both at the same time).

Thanks for this great video as usual ! My AR MK2 makes slightly scratchy noise when I turn Master Volume potentiometer up and down (let’s say from 80% Vol. to 90% Vol.). And I can hear that scratchy noise only when bass or/and kick part plays (I mean low frequencies) and only at the time I turn the Main Vol. knob. Otherwise the sound is all clear. Only headphone and Main out’s are affected (separate outs are fine because thay are not affected by Main Vol). Is it the same thing for you ? Thanks :)

Drop in the AU plugin from Elektron. That sorted out any and all latency issues I had. I am on less than 1ms latency now. I was trying to record it as multiple audio tracks into my DAW before (with bad latency, 60ms), but pulling in the plugin and then adding audio channels into Ableton as sub channels of the plugin track sorted it all out.

Surprised you use overbridge with all that killer hardware you have to run it through.. The Rytm also sounds so good when you send the tracks through the main outs and distort/compress them with its analogue FX. I usually keep the bass and kick separate (OTO Boum amazing as an effect here) and run the rest through the mains. It sounds great. For zero jitter I just use the ERM clock. Latency is super low for me, less than 1 ms.

killer. still deciding if i should wait for my name to come up on the pulsar 23 wait list or go for the rytm or maybe the LXR(i think thats what is, the erica synths collab drum box) to handle my drums live. right now the a4 is taking all the drum duty but i would rather it for chords and bass. btw, dont worry about the pronounciation. i dont think anyone is judging haha 🤠🤙🦊🙏

@@OoraMusic would you say that perhaps someone building their live/studio setup such as i, should go for something a little less esoteric than the pulsar 23 for their first drum machine? i was thinking that because its so different it would help to differentiate myself from the crowd a bit. but on the other hand i am getting quite comfortable with elektrons workflow through the A4 and dont feel intimidated by the rytm. between the P23 and the AR, which one would you say is more fun to play with and which has more versatility? i think i know the answers all ready but im asking anyway. thanks for taking the time to reply as well, cheers!
