this is a very good question! in my case, there is a great benefit to studying philosophy in two distinct cultures as both differ in their approaches and also the topics with which they're generally concerned. having two bachelors, even in the same subject, will also make one's academic resume (especially for grad/postgrad) more competitive as it shows that one has an international experience where most applicants will only have one degree from one institution. the benefits of a program like this, however, depend especially on your personal goals, future aspirations, and the course you're interested in applying to. it's certainly not for everyone, but the program can be incredibly helpful for some student's academic careers. i hope this helps!

What was the tuition cost? As well do they offer classes for pre med track classes?

hi! providing a cost for tuition is especially difficult as it varies depending on your course and your financial circumstances, which will determine any grants or scholarships for which you might be eligible. without any grants or scholarships, the tuition for an international student outside of the EU is $23,600 at trinity for the year and $79,000 at columbia for the year. please note that rarely anyone will ever pay the sticker price at either institution, and these prices are not very accurate indicators of the cost of tuition. columbia, in particular, also offers significant financial aid, and can often be cheaper than some public universities. for more information about tuition, i highly recommend visiting their official site. as for classes for pre-med, i know a few students who are interested in pursuing medical school after graduating from the program and i understand they are majoring in biomedical sciences. however, this is the extent of my knowledge for pre-med in particular. i hope this helps!
