Justin and Bec, we love your videos and the new rig looks just the ticket for your family to continue living life on the road. Our last big trip was in 2012/2013 with a Patrol and Oz tent. That set up worked for the two of us, as we wanted to do tracks such as the Simpson Desert. We were away for 10 months and travelled 42,000 k's. The previous time that I did the Simpson was in a Lada Niva, a vehicle that took me all over Oz and never let me down. Stay safe.

You can raise the GVM and GCM etc...but underneath it's still a 200 Series cruiser. Personally I wouldn't like to be towing 4,500kg caravan with that vehicle. My personal limit for a trailer is to be no more than 80% of the GVM of the tow vehicle. I'll stick with my Single Rear Wheel Silverado 3500 thanks anyway... Payload of around 1,800kg (GVM 5,171kg) and GCM is over 11,000kg (but that is if it's being used for 5th wheeler) . My Bushtracker is only 3,500kg, so is well within the capacity. It goes like stink and has fuel economy that would make Landcruiser owners weep blood!! hahaha. It's all decked out with full canopy (not the type you bolt onto the tub). Anyway, good luck with it and looking forward to seeing what the rest of the build shows us.

Hi Justin & Bec, hope all is good for you guys, we are still hanging around SA at the moment, changed to a lovely spot at 8 mile creek, down on the southern coast waiting for border closures to change. Caught up with a guy at Robe a few weeks back (he was visiting the area) with a Norweld biult 200 series stretched 600mm, looked intruiging so I waited for him to check it out, he also follows you guys and says that they are a great set up. Hi Justin and Bec, Its great to see the new rig. Looks awesome, I also own a 200 series and love how the vehicle tells the van what to do and not the other way around. You'll love the car, comfort, power, reliability, enjoy the new ride. One other problem with the RAM is by the time you do the mods required to the RAM to get enough GVM you will require a truck license to drive it legally. All the best look forward to the next vid, Thanks

The reason i ask is I suspect it is not too bad at all but you always have ppl comment about it. Is it possiable to show the difference in towing "feel" ? Not sure how but i would think that towing with a well designed rig would be much better than the normal dual cab ute etc.
