Thanks! I used to just have those black ones. The wild type ones that roam the neighborhoods. But when my last Drake died my roommate said why don't you get one of those pretty ones? So we did. They don't seem to hatch as many babies but they sure lay a lot of eggs. It's kind of confusing. But the babies come out pretty. Unfortunately I kept two of them so I can't keep anymore. I did have two of them that lived for 9 years each. One of them was outside with the rest of the ducks and the first one was a house duck. She wore a diaper And she didn't have caruncles because she was hardly ever in the sun. The first one I named Snuggles and the other one I named Willow.
