Some people would think that Ellum threw the game, but I think it was more 5up in this case. When that meeting was called and how 5up went from joy to finishing tasks to disappointment learning Janet was bad the whole time, DumbDog picked up on that disappointment and jumped on that as a means to get 5up voted out and it worked. Think about it, if 5up didn't display that disappointment would he really have gotten voted out? Because I don't think so.

5up announced that he finished his Snitch tasks and learned that it was xChocobars (Janet) as the remaining Imposter. Since they all feel it's a bit lame to have the answers handed to them, Dumbdog pretended he was Glitch and wanted at least one of the others to vote 5up to give Janet one more chance. The pretense that he was Glitch was also to give Janet less suspicion about him actually being Executioner, since a Glitch would want the game to keep going with one less Crewmate in that scenario. From Ellum's perspective, there's a chance that 5up is lying about being Snitch, so he lets his choice of whether to believe Janet or 5up be up to whomever makes a bigger display of being pitifully sick. When he chooses to favor Janet's sickness by voting 5up, that clinches the majority votes that Dumbdog needed on 5up to win as Executioner.
