This poor guy should be rich, but he's living modestly and constantly dealing with health issues. We're lucky to have his music. Vini is one of the best guitarists I have ever heard. Been a fan for decades. Such beautiful music.

I was just thinking this the other day. I think if he was from practically anywhere else in the country except London. Then he'd be celebrated a lot more. Unfortunately for him, his most prolific period coincided with when Manchester was filled with bands and musicians that had worldwide fame and importance. If he was from a small town somewhere, he would be one of the most celebrated people from there. Just seeing those orange and brown buses brings a tear to my eye when the soundtrack is Otis. I really wish I could write to Vini and let him know just how much he's cherished.

Iike to think only I know about durriti column...sellfish I know...but when you find music like this without exposure...you get a bit erm...whats the word...dont know..elite maybe...one better...dont know,...hope you did ok Vinnie...but really glad this wasnt played every ten minutes on capital or radio local...bet on sly,you are too....classic track
