It's a small detail, but considering the cutscene leading up to this trial, I just liked how the other members of the party all appear around you at the beginning. At last, we have something of an explanation for where these other 7 heroes suddenly come from! haha

Then again, this seemed to be a special case imho. Since the Crystal Exarch summons them, per se. So, I'm not entirely convinced yet about if this phenomenon is the same throughout the entire duty list. I'm saying this before the ending cutscene, so if there's more there, then forget I said anything. XD

Usually they just explain it as "Get some help you trust together and go fight this big dude", but this fight has an AWESOME reasoning for other players to be able to show up to help, even in this crazy space.

It's weird. In most cases story wise, it's stated that only you alone defeated x enemy. However in stormblood it's stated you have some random group of powerful adventurers at your beck and call to help you. In shadowbringers it goes back to you soloing primals or getting the scions help to defeat lightwardens. For this fight I think the exarch summons warriors of light from other worlds which is a really cool story touch.

should also point out that the LB gauge resets after the add phase, so LB should be used beforehand

Dual strike is also a tank buster, please use tank CDs during it. 80K damage unmitigated is no joke, especially on the MT.

Thank you so much for making these guides! I've powered my way through the MSQ since around June and I've referred to every dungeon and trial guide you've made before diving in. It's unnerving tanking but I've gotten progressively better and these guides help a ton so I have some idea of what I'm doing. I'm open to criticism and try to learn from mistakes. Quite a few content creators on here have built up a bit of confidence in me and you are certainly one of them. Well this fight was easier than my first time going through Shinryu and I think no one in my PUG died either! I'm definitely gonna try to hang out in some of your streams when I'm not busy.

Hey there; late comment, I know, but I'm generally pretty late on getting caught up with expansions. Reviewing once more before this fight and just wanted to leave a quick thanks. I really dislike going into fights blind, and always study up on mechanics before going in. There was a point where I got stuck at the Royal Menagerie because my old party sort of went separate ways, and the idea of going in blind with a random party who had probably played it many times was daunting. Anyways, I finally just looked up a walkthrough, and your channel popped up. Since then, you've been my go-to for every single major fight, whenever I've needed to check mechanics before going in. Your explanations are clear and easy to understand, and I've never had a single issue going in after watching your videos a couple of times. So yeah, that's all. Love the channel, love the walkthroughs, thanks for the content you put out. And don't you dare stop with the puns, they're awesome.

Ooh, so glad you have a guide for this one. Your guide's are always the best and my number #1 go to guides for every dungeon/trial. I'd heard that you were taking your time and enjoying the story line (not sure if it's true or not, just something I heard) which is why some other people had guides up first which if true is awesome. You should enjoy the adventure too. Either way I just wanted to say I really appreciate what you do and to never feel like you have to rush through content just to put out guides to help us out. The Falling discs in phase 1 are easily avoided by paying attention to the floor, the various circle patterns are the exact same size as their explosion when they touch down.

Still getting used to the fight? Turn off all party effects, the visual overload is insane not to mention the boss' bulk sometimes covers the camera.

I see it's already been pointed out but Dual Strike is a Dual Tankbuster and anyone caught in its aoe will take the full damage, which *will* kill any non-tanks. Also Hellborn Yawp can target non-tanks, I ran through this as Dancer and was targeted for it once.

These platform battles with large bosses like this are so silly looking. The way they hang out right there at the edge of the platform in range of melee attacks. All these bosses have to do is flip the platform and watch the party fall to their doom or just stay out of range and bomb the platform into oblivion.

I agree. I was so busy trying avoid the mechanics that I wasn't paying attention to the edge of the platform and I fell off. Really annoying and embarrassing way to die. The whole fight felt like I spent more time dodging mechanics than dealing damage.

Imagine your teacher or whatever just keeps talking it is known the brain needs a short time to store information but you need the time so if something is continuosly talking for 5 minutes it will drain on your attention span yes you can pause the video but why not just add a bit of time I mean common is I like this guide but anyways endoil is right with it as well some minor other things are for example the melody of something which indicates and end of a sentence but if you keep talking it makes your brain go a bit wild i hope you see what i mean by constantly typing without any period while reading through it the first time it is basically impossible to grasp and that should be the point of a guide innit?

Have your sins been forgiven today and forever? Think about this. The God of the bible, the One True God made us to worship him, obey him, and enjoy him forever. We break His laws daily by not putting Him first, not thanking Him like we should, we lie, we lust, we have sex before marriage, we dishonor our parents, we covet things other people have, we take God's name and use it in vain, we use it in a low manner, sometimes as a cuss word, (God is holy and even His name is holy), we don't love like we should, etc. In doing so we're saying He's not a good provider, He's a liar, He's untrustworthy, He's not worthy of praise. All these things and more are counted against us. The bible says God is the just judge of the world and one day He will settle the score for all the wrong we've done. God is holy meaning He is righteous (morally perfect in thought, word, and deed) It also means He is set apart and higher than us. God being good, must punish all sin or wrong doing in the world. This means that if you sin one time God will cast you in hell for eternity. Because He is good and He doesn't turn a blind eye to sin. But there is good news. 2000 years ago Jesus the Son of God came into this world and lived a perfect life ( He never sinned once) and He died on the cross taking the wrath that we deserve and paid the penalty for the sins we committed. The bible says that if you will repent (confess and forsake your sins) and trust in what Christ did on the cross (He took the wrath of God that was meant for you and I) then all your sins will be forgiven and when you die you will be in heaven with God and all who believe for eternity. Jesus died and on the third day He rose from the grave. Get right with God today don't wait. Once you die after that comes the judgement. Hebrews 9:27 It's the most important thing you can do. You must be born again John 3:7 If you repent and trust in what Christ did on the cross it shows that you've been born again or born spiritually. Right now you're dead in your sins and you can't see the beauty of Jesus Christ but after you trust in Christ all the things you hate about God like obeying him, serving Him, loving Him and others, reading the bible, praying and going to church you will love to do those things because God changes your heart. That's how you know you have been born again and forgiven. Please think long about this and ask me any questions you have as this is the most important thing you can ever think of in your life. An eternity in hell (darkness and a lake of fire the bible describes it, with weeping and gnashing of teeth) or an eternity out of that place and into the loving arms of God who is infinitely glorious, has infinite knowledge and has infinite power to do all that He pleases.
