I absolutely love that you made this. Always been a big fan of the Dirty Bubble, and enjoyed whenever he would show up. His voice especially, it's friggin' hilarious. Everything was so well put together, as someone else who has a hyperfixiation on an obscure SB character too I can relate so hard. For me it's Incidental 165, otherwise known as the "Sadly I'm only an Eel' Lady from the Tied Shoes episode. And like there's even less stuff of her than DB, but that doesn't stop from making fan art of her since she's so gosh darn cute. I made some art where Spongebob makes a dress for her but since she's so long (she a eel) he stitches together two regular dresses so it fits her, and she still appreciates it. Also I just have a headcanon name for her which is "Eelina" but yeah! I hope this was coherent enough lol, again, awesome video!!!

Great vid, cool figure... LARRY THE LOBSTER IS THE EX OF DIRTY BUBBLE. OK, so in a recent Alex Bale video (if you don't know who Alex is, check him out, he's making and made tons of great stuff). There's a part where Alex makes a theory that Larry, the lobster, was a notorious criminal pinhead Larry, and in the exact same video, he makes the conclusion that pinhead Larry's partner in crime was none other that the dirty bubble but he went under a different name dirty dan. i totally get having a favorite character where content of them is basically a desert lol. i got into Yu-Gi-Oh (the anime) a bit too late, and content of my favorite duo (marik and bakura) is like Pretty hard to find. its mostly just the Yu-Gi-Oh abridged videos (which are iconic ofc). this goes for a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh related content though ... its kind of weird because it feels like the series is pretty popular yet not at the same time???

as you might be able to tell from my pfp, I'm one of those stranger/significantly cringier hyperfixators whose target of interest happened to become a show for _younger_ kids. and lemme tell ya...it wasn't even one of the more popular, well remembered ones. not only did the show I like died before I even turned 13 (19 at the time of writing), not only is most of the fanart...well, what you'd expect from a kid's show fandom along with things I'd rather not see, and not only is there not a lot of other people in the same boat to interact with...but three of the characters I like in particular, get this, have *LITERALLY ZERO FANART.* "literally" being in the truest sense of the word. although I guess I should've expected that when they all appear in one single episode each. so when I see the parts of the video describing what it's like to be content starved... _I feel ya so much._ edit: just finished the video, and that's a sub from me! also, in case you were wondering what those three characters are that I like, it's Tong the acrobat bunny, Fox King, and Bear Queen from Ni Hao Kai-Lan. the latter two actually appear in the same episode together, as it's the whole point of it...and it's their only episode, unfortunately. fun fact: Bear Queen was actually voiced by Lucy Liu, who iirc also voiced Viper in Kung Fu Panda.

Having a strong fixation on a character is so relatable, my friends know me as the Mr. Burns guy. I couldn't help it! My brother was watching The Simpsons one Christmas break and I sat down and watched it, it was fun, but it was mostly passive. That is until I saw Smithers and Burns interacting with each other, and I got that tingly feeling you get when you KNOW a new special interest is starting. AND I WAS ASHAMED. I hid it, and I didn't draw anything till 3 months later. I was mostly shy because a lot of Simpsons fans don't really like seeing Smithers and Burns depicted as together, mainly because of the power dynamic and Burns just not being a great guy to him. But the heart wants what it wants, and I couldn't help but enjoy the few sweet moments they do have together, especially in the early seasons. I kinda liked exploring that fucked up side to their relationship though too. I respect that people might not like them, and that's okay! I just block and move on. I expected this fixation to go away eventually, but oh god it did not. I got out of it for a little bit, but now I'm back into it at full force. I And that's so awesome you ship Manray and The Dirty Bubble! I love them in the show, and after watching this video I definitely want to follow you for more art! I love a lot of Spongebob art and it's one of those fandoms I feel like I'll be in at least once before I die. Anyways, keep doing what you're doing it's awesome! Anyways sorry for the ramble, but ye! I love when other people love a character so much they get associated with them.

Watching this video(by the way you are WONDERFUL to listen I could have a whole playlist of you rambling about stuff you love) made me realize something; the Dirty Bubble is kind of an homage to campy Silver Age comicbook villains, while Man-Ray homages more of the Bronze Age villains since he's meant to be more gritty and menacing. Oh wow! I never knew you put so much love into a character. I honestly just saw your Dirty Bubble art here and there...and I thought, "Cool! Hes fat too. Awesome." (too many humanoid designs r skinny dangit!!!) But animatics? ship art? DELIGHTFUL !!!!!!!!!! Your effort in art for them, to show their character and personality. Its pure love I see and feel. Thank you for sharing it. I feel too often people hate on things they don't understand, like the whole "weirdo" trope. Yet go around this world thinking THEY are misunderstood- That misplaced anger for something that- wasn't even made for them...hmm...This strange era of animation/nostalgia giving us expectations for everything to remain static- when that's literally impossible. Shows end, actors die, creators move onto other projects, time marches on. Its natural and ok to change, and even more than ok to end... My nephew gets a whole era of cartoons I'll be too jaded to enjoy or understand, and that's fine. Its a tall order to be a creator in the industry too- but that's a whole other can of worms. And with the way modern Spongebob is with it's visual gags, you'd think they'd give him alot of spotlight, and they sort of did! There was an episode where the plot was that when he was clean, he was normal, and the dirtyness is what MADE him evil! I don't watch Spongebob anymore, and only caught that episode on a whim (flipping between channels), but I saw it and went: "Aww, look at him!... wait, is this his first ACTUAL episode as the main focus? Took them long enough!" If I still watched Spongebob, I probably would stan him the same way you do, but I don't. If there are any other episodes where he's the stand-alone main character though, someone let me know! I say "stand-alone" because, as much as I adore the duo of Man-Ray and the Dirty Bubble, Man-Ray usually (albeit unintentionally) tends to overshadow him. Edit: The fact that (according to you) there's more adut art of him than SFW art despite the fact that i've only ever seen two pieces of adult Dirty Bubble art FROM THE SAME PERSON just shows how underappreciated he is... but wait, he's different in both forms? I just assumed he was his silly little self in either form, just one being more nefarious than the other. That's a shame... guess I should've watched the whole video before commenting, oops.
