The TAR is now at 40rd mag standard as well. I've been using it while having the killer talent on it. It's pretty nice. I switch to tar for long range then to dark winter up close. Ezpz dps.

As a Day 1, 19K SHD D2 player, I'm very happy to see this buff, as some of the classic weapons like the EB needed it. That said, why no love for my favorite, The Pestilence? It certainly needs it. I had heard that both an RPM boost and a weapon damage buff were in the works. Between the Devs failure to fix Fragile Armor and no love for the Pesty, to say I'm disappointed with Project Resolve ("Let's add a gun and gloves that no one will use!) would be an understatement. I will however, reroll my EB, add some Expertise, and give the old girl a dust off. Thanks for all the hard work, Rogue.

I'm overall happy with the QoL stuff and most of the new adds. It didn't address everything but it's a solid B+/A- patch and they can move on from here. Fragile Armor grates, especially because it's a directive this season. On the plus side (?), there is no reason for me to grind XP anymore (SHD42k no-life grinder checking-in), so GG on breaking my SHD level addiction and now it's 2 or 3 directives turning off the ones that suck/I don't care for unless I have to grind stars or the season track quickly.

With my all red ultra glass cannon and DOC is criting for 1.2+mill a shot, it took me 16 tries to get the roll I wanted. Haven’t try it on pvp yet, but I think that buff on rpm and that third attribute change will bring it on top again

I ran into a big problem with the capacitor. I re rolled mine and got damage to targets out of cover and my 12% damage to armor which is specifically unique to the capacitor in fact to it being the only exotic assault rifle with a cooked in 12% damage to armor. Which this is where the problem arrives. Assault rifles only can be rolled to 6% armor damage if you have it max in your library. Im now stuck at 11%damage to armor due to this oversight of assault rifles only having a max attribute stat percentage of 6 and the new mechanics of not being able to optimize beyond what we have. Spread the word get this fixed 🙏

I imagine they'll likely re-order the stats to place Health Damage in the 2nd, and DTA in the 3rd. My impression is that that's always how it was supposed to be, but it's just been bugged and had no priority to fix 😄

hey fam! glad to see you loving back the EB XD Unfortunately for me, my usual glass cannon build got affected somehow :'v My sig doesnt make those tons of DMG I used to. I was arround min 700k - max 1M per shot. I don't know if they nerfed it or what but I'm kinda upset since it is an AR I got from as while ago and have played with it since I found out the accuracy is missrepresented on the weapon details. It is actually a laser beam. But not effective anymore T_T

@@RogueGold hey bro! is just a classic glass cannon build with full crits and crit chance. Nothing out of the ordinary. I tried in my both accounts (PC and Xbox) and is the same "nerf" I feel. Would kill a heroic elite still missing 10-ish rounds from 50 of my total mag. Now they feel spongie. I even did many raids with that build as well... Dunno... guess I will have to check that out again. It's just that sig, man... Laser beam i tell ya. that sweet RPM/DPS balance was perfect for my playstyle :'v

They made a change with this update so that you can only optimize up to the value you have stored for that stat in your Recal library. So you need to find a higher roll, store it, and then you can Optimize further 👍

I've tried this with the BigHorn, I first tried my old one with crit dmg with all attributes maxed and weapon damage at 10% with 4 piece striker backpack and chest, then using Uzina Getica (crit chance and crit damage) I was getting upwards of 2,000,000 headshot damage with it. I then tried my other BigHorn with Dmg out of cover, I was hitting waaay more with it. Such a HUGE difference with Dmg out of cover.

If the weapon already has a Damage To Target Out of Cover attribute on it (such as the exotic lmg's) then no you can't also put it in the bottom attribute. If it's an A.R such as the Eagle Bearer or SMG such as the Lady Death, or even the Scorpio shotgun, then you can definitely put DTTOC on it.

The mask is currently unobtainable, was part of a recent limited time store bundle. The pants I believe are unobtainable, they were part of a R6S apparel outfit. The rest should be included in the Standard Apparel Cache pool, or in the store for Textiles

It'll only get deleted if you're inventory on your character is full or if you press the deconstruct button after you re-craft it. Right when the update dropped i re-rolled my Eagle Bearer, Chameleon and Scorpio without issue. It won't magically disappear, unless your inventory is full and it has no where to go. The message from the devs at the game start up screen also states this. So re roll whatever you want, just be sure to have space in your inventory.

If you're a high level you might wanna do WoNY with a secondary character, when you finish it you'll get a ton of scavenging points depending on your SHD level, remember to activate the shared materials between characters. If you're a low level then try good XP farming methods to get scav points, play countdown to get a lot of SHD calibrations and printer filament by adjusting the targeted loot to gear mods or grey materials by adjusting it to weapons or gear, and finally you can get a lot of green and blue materials by opening as many bags as you can on the open world and opening faction crates with keys, if you need keys go to the sewers, you can find tons of keys there

@noisetalker I personally do a mixture of Countdown, Dark Zone, and Control Points to get my Optimization materials (and utilize Global Event farming), but many people prefer to do the WONY alt character method. I've never done that, and personally find it tedious, but there are many guides for it here on KZbin if you're interested.

@@RogueGold i probably should’ve been more specific. Every weapon category has a gear set that has good synergy. All automatics have striker and HB, MMRs have hotshot and aces and eights, lmgs have true patriot. The rifles just feel weak still besides the ravenous (in certain builds), the new vindicator, and the 1886 in specific builds aswell

It's clearly "less bad" now. But until it becomes an actual Stable weapon, or at least "reacts" better to Stability/Handling (I need 5/FIVE Weapon Handling rolls to be ALMOST as stable as its base model, the P416), it's still a terrible weapon for 95% of us...
