Hey Vincent! I have funnily enough, just arrived in Waterville for some fishing and camping for the Week! Looking forward to hopefully catching some fish later in the week when the sun dies down a bit!

Hi there. I'm just back from Waterville and I'm sorry to say the fishing was a disaster. With the heat the fish weren't coming to the surface. My advice is to tie a lead at the end of your line a bouncing Betty is perfect above this 3 or 4 flies spaced at least two feet apart. Drop this to the bottom of the lake and row slowly the motion of rowing will work the flies this might catch you fish. Or maybe late in the evening they might come on the take. The very best of luck what ever you do.

@@Jake_05_ Hi any one of the lakes are beautiful to camp on they are all safe it's just up to you which lake.you prefare. Enjoy the whole experience. But I have to say to you if you have hired a boat on the lake and you camp there that's fine. But if you haven't a boat hired and your just camping and fishing from the Bank that's not allowed. Had to say that to you. ENJOY HAVE FUN.

If the fishing is bad the best lake to be on is lough Clonaughlin there's lots of hidden lakes to explore and the island with the eagles is a whole lot of fun. Enjoy yourself. Have fun. Lots of fun.

We are staying until the weekend so you never know we might cross paths as you are coming and we are leaving. We decided to put up a tent on Derriana and the view this morning across the lake felt like something from heaven!

Whichever way you look at it. It's a great place to be wasting your time! I'd give my right nut to be fishing there today! Unfortunately, I'm at work covering staff who are self-isolating. I've tried to watch your video so many times but customers keep coming in! How dare they when I'm watching my favourite fisherman?! Your videos keep me sane when I'm in this madhouse! I had a try up the River Tyne yesterday but it was so hot. I knew when I was tackling up that there was no chance but it was just nice getting out and fishing. That lake you fish looks better and better every time I see it! Tight lines for next time mate.

They have been reintroduced in a few places in Ireland but the farmers killed some saying they were killing the lambs.
