Thank you for this series! Everyone always paints motherhood as this wonderful dreamy thing, and I think it can be really harmful to not discuss the hardships and thus adequately prepare people for the journey. If people rush into parenthood because they think it’s going to be sunshine and rainbows, it can be detrimental to the kids when reality hits and it proves itself to be one of the hardest things a person can be tasked with. Thanks for being raw, honest, and real!

At a very early age I had decided that motherhood was not for me. My mother has always been really honest about her experience and how it’s not a honeymoon. I always thought there was something wrong with her because all you ever hear is how wonderful motherhood/pregnancy is and I was missing out. This is so refreshing to hear real people talking about the realness of having children. Thank you for sharing your stories and for being so vulnerable.
