Years ago I was grieving a break up and was on a run along the ocean on a cliff. I was feeling unloveable, guilt, and shame from the relationship not working out. What could I have done better? I failed. And the ocean was right in front of me. A whisper came from the sea breeze that said , "I love you". A loving energy moved from my heart through my body and I smiled. I felt loved.

"Forgiveness is the fragrance the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it"- Mark Twain. I was just talking about forgiveness and this quote right before seeing this video. Forgiveness is such a mercurial notion.. it isn't a 'concept', an 'idea' or even a 'notion', a 'thing', try as we might to intellectualize, conceptualize it, etc (lord knows I have!). It is a feeling, the heart speaking, 'god' speaking, whatever that looks like/feels like to us... For many of us that has come from the natural world, through it's unconditional presence. It depends on the day and mood in my humanness with where I am with forgiveness.. and I forgive myself for that. ;) This quote always tunes me into it's essence though, like a faint rememberence but remembering just the same. Thanks so much for this share Asia. xx-m

Oh this video was hitting on the right spot today. The day on which I had to announce that I have to shut down most of my business and shop. It hurt so much. The message of self forgiveness has come up for me a lot lately. I’ve read a bit of a course in miracles which talks about emotions that aren’t of God are not real but that never sat well with me because these emotions of grief and fear are real. We may not have to attach to them though. Im so grateful for your message 💜

This is something I struggle with. I was artificially conceived and feel deeply guilty about my existence, which I consider a form of ecological rape both from my habits and the choices brought me into the world. It's hard to see myself as worthy of the forgiveness the earth bestows to other humans because I feel like a miscreant and abomination. I do my best to give back to the earth through permaculture and try to offset some of the burden my life existence has placed on an earth that never wanted me.

Faith, from the Earth's perspective there is nothing "artificial." Everything is made from Earth, even that which we see as non-natural. *You* are not artificial either. You are a rare and brilliant creation, as natural and welcomed as a flower that grows where nothing else can. The Earth loves you for what you are, a miracle.
