Selene actually isn't dead yet. She was actually talking in the scene when Dogramag was coming out of the ground lol. Yeah, people have been theorizing on Reddit about the correlation between the Japanese Days of the Week & the Dragon Gods for a while now and it indeed seems like Mashima is incorporating them into the story that way. Also, in the case of Kirin's, there was a theory on Reddit recently that hinted at The White Wizard having something to do with or being in that coffin.

Haven't seen that theory about Kirin, that's kinda cool. Didn't notice that selene had a text bubble in the chapter, nice to know she isn't dead. Really would have been a wasted villain.
