Can you share the link the the lid option and what grind setting are you using on your grinder for both options?

What is the point in weighing water? Why not just measure it by volume?

overnight steep!?

Helpful video! Thank you. One Q: does the final pressing add bitterness to the coffee or it does not affect the taste?

What if instead of leaving it inverted overnight you make the concentrate but then just add it to the press the next morning? Does it have to sit in the press overnight in order to work?

Preferably glass Mason jar filled to the top 24-36hrs. In the frig. (cold brew) Coarse grind, fresh medium roasted coffee.

Leaving the seal compressed like that overnight will wear it out.

Definitely something to keep in mind, but we've never had any issues with it!

Let us know your favorite recipe for cold brew down here!!

I have developed an interesting recipe. I make a hot concentrate in an aeropress and then blend with an equal amount of ice. The blending seems to create an incredibly creamy beverage with nothing but coffee and ice.

That sounds great! We’ll have to try it!

As not only a home brewer but also a home roaster who also regularly uses the AeroPress™ together with the Prismo™, I noted the apparent force on the plunger in this video. By experience, this force meant, to me, that the example given was for a 10-12 hr steep using a fine grind of coffee (altho inferred it was never stated as such). This, because the plunger pressure required with a coarse grind coffee is significantly less than with a fine grind. My guess is this is due to the hole size in the Prismo metal filter. Coarse grind leaves coffee in much larger pieces than the filter holes, so they don't fit into and block these holes as does the finer grind. Also, if finer grind is used in the Prismo™ arrangement, I find it useful to soak the filter plate in chlorox (bleach) occasionally, to dissolve the small particles of coffee that begin to clog this filter. It will never clog it totally, but by opening any clogged holes, the required manual force on the plunger is somewhat lessened.

NOT COLD BREW. but still interesting to see. Water should be kept cold for 12 to 36 hrs. Then double filtered For real cold brew, with smooth taste.
