Hello, I’ve been playing mercenaries since early January and really enjoy the format, however like all of us I’m a bit frustrated with the slow progression for task farming to get all the correct equipment for various pvp and over groups. I believe I have found a very time efficient modified fire comp for PVE Task farming Lord Bane hollow felwood ( 2-6) which I haven’t seen anyone else post. It is using chi-ji, baron, rag, all at level 30, baron inferno 5 rag die insect 5 Chi-ji heal all is a single tap fire ability that is faster then Barron so it triggers his ability and then rag cleans up. I have completed 7 runs, all successfully using only the “single tap” no targeting abilities, and have received 6 mysterious strangers Party comp is chi-ji, Barron, rag, illidan, yulon (last two are the tasks I was farming) Hope this is helpful for those who are looking for faster/more efficient task farming, feedback always welcome!

Also meant to add, all runs completed with 2 fights to reach task. (Otherwise retired until 2 fights to task coin.)

I was following this to a "tee" but I was not anywhere close to the 30 damage from Lokholar shown in your video (in spite of my Hail Storm being fully upgraded) and I couldn't figure out what was wrong for the life of me. I finally realized it was because my Frigid Winds was only level 1. D'oh, back to the drawing board. I'll get you yet, Rend!

Thanks for the comp, did it first try with these even though they were not upgraded that well. Was really close at the end though but Tavish did indeed step up at the end to finish everything off.

thanks for this guide , finally killed rend with it ;) , I did not need a maxed out Lokholar (or any mercenary for that matter)

No area before alterac has Lokholar coins. So it'very difficult to have Lokholar without beating Rend before.

Lokholar is a rare so you get it instantly from packs. Then you get some coins to upgrade abilities from tasks.

completely useless to the filthy casuals like me. my lokholar has ONE damage hailstorm. my tavish doesnt have rigged wiring. none of my chars has anything maxed, unlike your chars. and so on

try it, my lokholar was level 29 (completely useless) and I just completed it first try (it's true that my cariel had hysteria)
