if you notice the enemy team regularly ints right after the enemy team needs to contest waves since that irelia can always kill him she should always match him on side and kill him on cd instead she leaves him be and leaves him to farm every wave for free even when they do get to killing him he still has multiple waves already pushed in so the enemy has a dead lane at most they are getting 450 gold from him he is getting more from his passive and the waves he kills this is how he ends up ahead and with a bounty while inting it's not the sion int strategy that we had with zzrot and banner it's much better and far better executed this is why he is the only high elo sion player

@@M_CFV she can but her biggest mistake is leaving him alone on side lane she thinks she has to help her team when in reality she just has to make sion not play the game he is already inting but if he is losing objectives every time he dies then his team is in deep shit also notice that him pushing in always brings 2-3 people on him this is massive pressure achieved by sion ie a massive failure by irelia it might not be worth killing him repeatedly but she has absolutely no pressure by allowing him to do what he wants

@@MostWantedWannaBE Not true at all. If you're challenger and you get the sort of lead Irelia has, then if you can't carry the game after you're just bad at the game. You don't take all of the resources and jg help just to match a 0/6 Sion on side LOL. Irelia got the camp from Ivern so she should not need to side against Baus to push her lead. She should be able to push her lead against anyone on the map that she wants and let her team catch up by matching Baus on side. Mid bot were ahead out of lane for Baus' team, so she should be trying to kill them to get more gold than she would from Baus. There are a few reasons Baus' team won this game: Ivern heralded top when Irelia would have just farmed him 1v1 or 1v2 and gotten all of the plates anyway. This leads to Irelia pushing up to Baus' tier 2 in order to farm and her dying 1v4 to give a huge shutdown (she should have swapped with Jayce and Jayce should have waited for top to push in to him). Jayce does the exact same thing on bot 5 minutes later trying to kill Sion in a situation where the best he was getting is 1 for 1. Bringing a bunch of people to you is not always "pressure", it really depends on what his team is able to achieve while he is doing that or what he achieves while he is doing that. Getting the wave while dying when you are not worth much gold to begin with can actually be very worth it because your team is at least getting wave priority elsewhere, and if they get to deny any minions at all out of it it can actually be a pretty even trade in a situation where the enemy team can still misplay vs Baus and give them a good trade while Baus' team can't really misplay waves. This is why it's worth for Baus to do that and not worth for Irelia to do that. The thing that makes this strategy so powerful on Sion is that he does absolutely insane turret damage. Either you leave him alone on side to take structures and try to force 5v4 (bad idea late game, Baus special), send someone to match him 1v1 (how many times have we seen challengers forget how Sion works and die to bush cheese), or collapse on him with multiple people (lategame he can trade 1 for 1 in passive sometimes, waste their time with ult, get waves with ult and passive). Sion as a champion is just really good from playing from behind if you keep your CS up and build AD. You have to play a very careful macro game and respect the capabilities of the pick in the hands of someone like Baus but time and time again we see challenger players get too caught up in the chance to 1v5 carry to actually think about whether their play makes sense in terms of macro. It also helps that Baus is a beast at Sion lategame, so even if they respect the turret strat he is still useful later.

People are spamming "omg sion god lol" but honestly I think you have a very good understanding of wave management and the "economy" side of league as in, the amount of gold lost on death at 0/5 for example, and then stacking that bounty on enemy so you can collect it later. Pretty risky way to play the game but since ranked late game is a fiesta, it usually "pays off".

Actually true, maybe an unpopular opinion but i prefer kraken over gale for adcs for example.
