안녕하세요 선생님! I think that conjugations are partially correct. The past conjugation of verbs depends only on the vowel used in the last syllable of verb stem. If the vowel is ㅗ/ㅏ, 았어요 is used. If the vowel is any vowel but ㅗ/ㅏ/ㅡ, 었어요 is used. If vowel is _, we look for the vowel in previous syllable and then decide the conjugation. With 하다 and all 하다 verbs, we use 였어요 (so 하다 becomes 하였어요 but 했어요 is more commonly used).

As you explained, there are 3 types of verbs No 받 침 받참 하 다 And you gave us examples; Sleep - slept Cry - cried Study - studied My question is How did we know, which verbs use No 받 침 받참 하 다 ??? I kept thinking, if you don’t give me an example I might use verb (to cry) with 하 다 forms Which is use for (to study) verb I puzzled
