Learn the easiest method for brewing KOMBUCHA at home using a DIY continuous brew vessel.
Today I'm showing you how to make a continuous brew vessel for your kombucha tea and how to do for less than half of what you'd spend online.
Continuous brew systems can get really pricey. So why not try and make one yourself? Today I'm sharing just that. So grad the supplies you'll need and let me show you how easy it is.

So, just thinking about his for a bit more and I wonder .. what is it that makes you call this 'continuous'? I mean .. it sounds like you are still draining the entire batch and then filling up with a new batch. From 'continuous' I figured you would take out a single serving (1 glass or so) from the spigot, and then add water, sugar and what-not at the top and then the next day it would be ready to go again. Am I correct in 'distilling' (pun intended) from your video that you are indeed still using this to dispense 'batches' .. just that you're making them inside the vessel you ultimately pour it from vs. bottling it?

interesting but still not clear on a couple things? you mentioned the volume of your dispenser so what was the proportion of tea and added water that you put into the dispenser or does it matter? How much tea did you make and while I know its a personal taste thing, what's your sweet tea composition, ie, how much black tea and than sweeten while brewing to taste?

I don't understand what makes it "continuous." Seems the same as your video to make regular kombucha, except you're also showing the container with spigot.

Very informative, thanks for posting. I'm curious, once you start the brew, how often (if ever) do you actually empty the container and clean it?

360p .. no wonder it's so vague! Lol, did you film this on an old Nokia from the kitchen drawer? 🙂 And the overexposure .. it's almost pure white. Then again: the content is great, thanks for sharing! :)

How long can SCOBY stay in the hotel?

Thank you so much for sharing how to brew and store this drink that my granddaughter absolutely loves. Question, do you move the SCOBY to the broth that she grew in every time you make a new batch? Do you reuse her or the new ones that are generated? I’m confused as to how long do you leave everyone in the hotel? Thank you.

Hi, love to see how efficient and organised you are. I'm just starting my journey to brewing continuous Kombucha and I have lots of questions. I would love to see how you deal with acidic on the Kombucha, I'm adding water and reducing my scoby. Any tips?

Dont just add water. Add the tea and sugar mixture. The scoby needs something to feed off of in order to ferment. Adding water isnt going to be enough for the scoby.

I am curious why the lid that came with the vessel cannot be used. If it just sets on the top and is not airtight is it okay to use the lid?

It’s a combination of aerobic and anaerobic fermentation. It just needs a lot of air too, not just releases CO2.
