I used for a bit and it is very convenient but the problem is that the person who created it is manually getting the update links and stuff for it to work. This is a problem because you're essentially trusting a stranger to put things in an installer for you, and they could accidentally pull a bad link and boom, you just installed malicious software. It seems unlikely that would ever happen but I think the security concerns put even more pressure on OBS for an official plugin repository and manager.

hey i have question , if i update my plugin move transition or other plugin, Will it have an impact on assets that have been set in obs such as move value and move source? and also if the plugin shader filter is updated, will it reset the settings that have been made in obs ? thanks a lot

I used the OBS Pluginstaller to get all the plugins from your recent 10 best plugins video and a lot of them don't work :( . For example i add a shadowfilter and it makes my source disappear from view until i turn off the filter. This is the same for advanced mask, Composite blur, glow filter, and stroke filter. The pixel art filter does nothing at all

Hey I know this video is old, but is it necessary for me to remember all the plugins I have previously downloaded every time? I thought this app would remember what I clicked in the past, instead it just resets list to their recommended plugins, instead of the ones I have previously downloaded, which is a bummer but I guess it beats re-downloading the plugins individually.

It should work with any OBS-Studio, but the plugins can be incompatible with older versions of OBS.
