Definitely, it's just more to carry and some locations will have an issue with you putting down stands.

There's not much difference in background exposure, the main difference seems to be color temperature and/or exposure on her face. Is the color temperature the same in Lightroom on both images? Is the flash/modifier adding a color tint?

Fairly low, since it was so close. Probably around 1/8th power.

Great video! I would go back a little with the soft-box so the light falloff will be smaller. The light on her seems to be a bit too intense and too harsh. I prefer a more balanced shot, the subject being just a bit more exposed than the background.
