Awesome, I will add a drawstring around the face to adjust, to keep out the wind, love this, thank you!!

Great idea, would you put a couple of button holes in the area under the chin & another line of stitching to create a channel for a cord with cord lock?
@conniecopenhaver12020 күн бұрын
A simple way to add a Drawstring, is to sew a wide Bias Binding around the Hood when it is finished, and leave an open space at the bottom to create a channel to thread a cord though. Add a slider on each cord end to adjust the tightness as you draw the hood closed.

I love this! So easy to make and very clear instructions. Would love to have measurements for a smaller size for kids and the addition of a drawstring would be awesome too! Thank you so much for sharing this.

Im going to make this for my hubby . He is 74 and a bald-ie. When he goes out to get the fire wood his little head gets so cold. 😢 He doesn't like jacket hoods and makes me take them off. However for the 5 minutes outside he will love it.. especially when the blowing snow is going on. 😅 Thank you for this pattern ❤

Question on laying out the fabric to cut...which edge is on the selvage to get the correct stretch???????? Please anyone that has made one or know respond asap.

The opposite (perpendicular) direction of the selvage has greater elasticity.😄🌻
