Fun fact: you can solo with a a very robust sa obisdrugon with beast slumber. I just did it first try, it cant kill it and needs 2 crits in a row maybe 3 just to ko keep a heavy armour on it just incase

You also run slumber on Arceros to try to keep it alive longer. Though you might also need your teammate to try to get rid of the stat boosts of the Icigool. I was able to solo the first raid with just an Arceros and it also came in clutch at the last bar of health when my teammate square one’d the stats.

You may find it funny, my strategy was first doing damage at the boss then in a pinch moment i throw out a Obsi with sharp edges and start spamming Beast's Slumber and pray for it to do melee attacks lol

I beat this fight and surprisingly celesting is really good for it. it resists 2 of the moves from icigool and you can teach it energy surge which can help your teammate set up arceros (by restoring some energy so it can use more boiling presses)sidenote: it can also learn metal blast.

Kramboss gets Square One and Wonder Herb if you want to fill out its moveset even if it's unlikely you'll click the latter it's something I guess Also, if you don't want to go through the process of getting an Arceros with the right personality, Volkaloa is another Fire Ancient type that has decent enough melee bulk (when tp trained for it anyways) to tank hits and then rejuvenate when it gets low, as well as getting brawn boost for setup, primal slash as your main attack, and blaze chomp as a move to run with volcanic to click either in desperation to end the fight or as a move to click right before you die

The way I beat it which was a weird way was a Brawny, Robust, very sluggish Searknight with health amulet, Searing Steel, Bulk up, and Flaming kick (Only if not enough energy for searing steel), 200 tp on atk m and def m then 100 in health. I did this with just searknight on solo but do bring a arceros and kramboss incase it dies. Basically for the first 4 turns bulk up the searing steel, then spam attacks until stats reset, then do another 4 bulk ups and then just spam attacks until it dies. That what I did it's confusing but it works as long as you don't get poisoned or crit to much

Another loom good for both the raid difficulties is Oxidrake, resist both of icigools stabs plus is bulky on the melee side with rejuvenate and can output huge damage with outburst. I used ONLY oxidrake on both the normal and nightmare difficulty, and my boy soloed both

You can also use an oxidrake. It tanks more or less all hits from both 3 and 5 star icigool, you simply need some M def TPs and for the moveset you'll need, bulk up, rejuvinate and outburst. With this alone you can easily solo Icigool.

arceros slumber/bulk up combo is really good bro, when you get the first bar down, BOH will no longer be something, so you can spam the hell out of bulk up and slumber when you get low, you dont even need a second player, any bot works, lol i even soloed it with flaming kick, not even boiling press

Oxidrake with bulk up, rejuvenate, and outburst does wonders. Just setup 2x bulk ups on first bar to force ici to reset your stats and then set up all the way. Make sure to keep your energy consistently over half or 3/5 and to wait whenever it goes lower than that (you regain more energy with outburst the more energy you have left). If you time your rejuvenates well, you’ll do great especially if you run health amulet. Just pray ici doesn’t poison or crit, but even then it’s still winnable. My Oxidrake (which had a bad melee attack stat modifier) still solod it while poisoned.

Heres all you need either a taoshinu or sa obsidrugon set up with sharpen or bulk up you will take very little dmg with more defence from bulk up / obsidrugon sa and destroy em with the set up dmg boost with beasts slumber / rejuvenate in case you can't heal back the dmg with a health amulet.

I personally had a cephalops which resists a lot of the moves, spam hypnotise early on. And the teammate will just choose a strong loomian. Though notice, icigool does gain immunity to sleep when at low enough health.

So uhh I appear to have a strange bug that may only affect certain users. If you have the soulburst icigool saddle on and you have a colored icigool, the color doesn’t transfer over and depending on the icigool your head may move up or down from its initial position. I’ve gotten this bug but as far as I’m aware some people don’t have this issue

i managed to beat it with a random that i met, i had: samarine (no item), harvesect(rageful plushie) and falkyrie(no item), i always led with my harvesect to set up bulk up and then use parasitize or soul storm which arent really that great but worked out at the end for me the other guy had: sb eruptidon who he always sent on turn 1, wabalisc with luster loot and kramboss with square one and vice jaws? i think thats the name of the move.

Tundrolen with bait and wabalisc or cosmoire or any set up sweeper that can start setting up and knock it out fast - works with pretty well tundrolen just doesn’t faint unless it gets crit but even then it didn’t kill and you can just rejuvenate and run dust for the off chance of poison

Searknight, although weak to thunder chomp, was actually really good, I used health amulet for the item and bulk up + searing steel to get it down to one bar, from there my sb eruption took care of things quite easily

I beat it using Oxidrake, Tyrecks and Cephalops. Honestly the only good Loomian here for survival and damage was Oxidrake, since it resists most of Icigools attacks, and it can regenerate hp. Tyrecks was kind of a throwaway Loomian, and i used Cephalops specifically to switch out to it during the last health bar for Square One to remove all buffs.

You can actually solo the raid by using a v robust or a robust clever tundro, run a lot of hp and m def tps, also put some into m atk or energy(forgot precise calc), run hp amulet and the ability n moveset is resilience(obviously), with bulk up, ice hammer, and rejuvenate and that's all you need lol.

i didnt have any of them loomians since i didnt play for a while but what i did do (which took ages) was use krakaloa with rejuv scapegoat and magma block along with a health amulet, obsidrugon with sharp edges ability and beast slumber span and the item heavy armor, and for when the icigools dmg stats get buffed i had cephalops ready to use square one lol in the end this was tedious but i got there in the end lmao

For me and my friends did obsi and copparge without losing any loomian as obsi sa ability gains def and copparge ability gives def which stacks prevents both from fainting easily while obsi can set up attack to do damage so i perfer this more than that much cheaper:D

I just used Arceros and it dealt a good 4/5 bars of health by itself. My teammate just had some tanks and chipped it down a little. My other looms were SB Eruptidon and Samarine (which I very quickly realized was a mistake the moment I sent it out) however it did finish him off with Steel Crusher so I’m not complaining. This was a very easy experience for me. Got it first try.

My team I use my own Brawny Icigool and SB it to get rid of BoH and then Fade Away immediately to my VSmart Anomaly Dreggodyne and spam Draco Beam until it eliminates stat boosts and keep going till it faints and then swap back to Icigool to deal chip damage until it faints to which I go to my Smart Wabalisc and spam Power Focus and Luster Loot until Ici faints
