Great overview of Font Self, thank you! I have already used it a bit and one thing that I have a question about is whether you have a technique for making upper and lower case script/cursive letters connect nicely together?

Thanks! Cursive letterforms would definitely be tricky but it may be possible if you make sure that all your strokes end in the same spot and all have the same shape :)

This video couldn’t come at a better time! I am struggling with my lettering, not happy with how it looks. I thought about using fonts instead, but I really want to use my own letters. Thank you! You will have to draw the italic version. This is not automatic (it should never be, each character always need to be redrawn to create the italic version) ✨

Thank you so much for this tutorial. Your font is beautiful! I'm finding that it's asking me to pay to export the font. Perhaps this is a new phase of the app or was there a way you were able to get around it? It's asking for a one-time charge of $14.99 (USD) when I click 'Export Font File.'

This app is free to try all designs and brushes, and you can upgrade to a paid option (one-time payment, no subscription) to export an unlimited number of font files.
