Another good video! but i must ask: How you choose palette? How you understand what a tone color be the good for your main color? maybe there are some rules about this? For example: HSV color I have (H: 100, S: 100, V: 100) will be it correct if my next color tones will be like: H: 100, S: 100, V: 80 H: 100, S: 100, V: 60 H: 100, S: 100, V: 40 H: 100, S: 100, V: 20 or do you choose by eye?

Hi Hell, thanks for your feedback! Creating nice palettes works best if you follow some guidelines of color theory. Two general rules that you can follow are: 1) Once you have a base color, let each darker tone of that color be less saturated than the previous, and shift its hue more towards blue on the color spectrum. 2) Do the opposite for the lighter colors: Let each lighter tone be more saturated than the previous, and shift its hue more towards yellow on the color spectrum. There is more to say on the topic of color theory, so I might make a video on that subject in the future.

Can you do mountain tutorial too?
@PixelPrinciplesКүн бұрын
Hi KeyGameUniverse! For mountains, some of the same concepts apply as for rocks. But I might make a video specifically on mountains in the future. Thanks for the suggestion!
