Everything worked smoothly for about a week, then today battlenet would freeze and not let me play on game mode. I tried on desktop mode but it was heating like crazy. So now i deleted everything and trying again, removing the autoupdate. I will post if there is any update. So far this was the easiest method, beside clicking on those goddamn folders during the installation of Battlenet :D

So after installing the game, i can just stay in game mode and launch bnet launcher, and then launch D4 to start playing it? Edit: also if theres game updates, i just have to manually update it right?

Just the latest stable steamOS version at the time. Updated it since then.

Why set the pathway to something other than default c drive? Is it more accessible in a diffetent drive or is it just a storage thing?

No you don’t have to. It’s just easier to manage them after the installation. It doesn’t make a difference where the game is installed.

your sd card should come up as the E drive if you save it there it should work.

Guys please help I downloaded call of duty 3 via steam I don’t created battlenet and Diablo but how do I do it with call of duty modern warfare 3 as I already downloaded the game on steam it’s not launching and I don’t have the opt to install on battlenet

Install games in desktop mode. And to uninstall just delete your Battle.net installation folder.

If you press update and restart, it’ll probably go to a gray screen, just close battlenet and reopen it and it should be updated.

I'm having the same problem with the Battlenet update. It will not update. Restart Battlenet, restart Steam Deck... keep getting the same problem. The "PLAY" does not turn Green and will not launch Diablo IV. Any thoughts?
