Thank you for saying, "the best points are the points you use for a travel experience you are excited about." I just got into points and miles this year and I've been so worried I wouldn't maximize my points so I kept stalling to book our trip worried I was missing something. What you said helped me breathe a sigh and finally book that trip we have been eyeing. I love your videos and find them very informative and allow me to feel comfortable in doing all this points and miles stuff. Keep up the great work❤🎉

You are SO welcome & thank you so much for this comment 🥹 We have been right where you are always spinning our wheels to find the best redemptions possible & then not booking a trip out of fear of missing something. So happy to hear we could help and we are cheering you on from here to be confident in using your miles & points. You are why we do what we do 😄

Great vlog with great info!!! We RVed Ring Road in the Summer of 2021 and it was epic!! We used points for our airfare and most of our RV. Stunning country!!

I like how you added in some Iceland tips - maybe in future videos you could re-visit some more places that Kara and Nate have gone too but sort of glossed over or go there in a different season - like Copenhagen. Using that as an example because I am researching a trip there and their video and some other KZbinrs I watch focused more on the food and just downtown and were there in a colder season.

Great info and it looks like an awesome country to visit! I'm also sitting her chuckling to myself at your comments about having to drive a manual transmission. lol They're pretty easy, once you get the hang of it. The hardest part is learning how far to let out the clutch for it to catch. Going uphill from a stop is also a fun adventure 😉

Haha glad that you enjoyed the video! It definitely took some time to master the art of going uphill from a stop 😂

Thinking about taking another trip to Iceland to teach our kids how to drive a stick! Nothing parties like a rental… 😂 it’s fun to drive in iceland.

Thanks so much! We don’t post our personal travels anywhere but that’s definitely something we’ll be sprinkling into Daily Drop content in the future. The clips from this trip were mostly shot on the Sony A7IV!

The issue I have w/the signup bonus is yes they are great but there are only so many of them and once you've exhausted them it's earning your points one candy bar at a time. LOL!

Can you make a video about how to better earn points *outside* of the sign up bonuses? Like after you’ve used them? Thanks!

It’s all about using the right card for the right purchases. Amex platinum for flights, amex gold/ Citi premier/ chase sapphire for restaurants / groceries, and capital one venture X for every other purchase for 2x on every purchase. Gotta have multiple cards and know where and when to use them

Question about airline alliances, can I transfer points to air Canada and use it to book flights on Singapore airlines for example since they’re both star alliance.

Not being able to drive the manual van is a bit embarrassing. Would have recommended reaching out to someone you know that drives stick to practice for maybe 2 hrs before your vacation. Why would you want to limit your options and spend more money if you didn’t have to. Other than that always loved Kara and Nate and I'm excited to learn from them and their team how to travel hack better.
