Such a powerful song. I heard this for the first time while working for the BC Wildfire Service during the 2017 firestorm in the interior of BC. I was driving down a highway at night, with wildfires burning on either side of my vehicle, the orange glow from the flames lighting the night. The highways were empty as everywhere was evacuated due to the fires. The song fit that moment so well. Now whenever I hear that songs it brings me back to that moment, and the complete intensity of that summer.
