Idk. For now yes. But Heat are one trade away from being pretty good and Pacers are slowly but surely crawling back to where they were last year (just check all the advanced metrics. Their offence is resurging and their defence is improved compared to last year). Also, Magic is so extremely unlucky. If not all the injuries they would be a surprisingly respectable team.

Yeah this is the first year I've watched them where I actually feel they should end above .500 with a margin of at least 6-8 games. You saw they were 3 games above .500 for the first time in like 3 years? Crazy. Finally a new roster but yes, need to keep the guys healthy. As a Thunder fan I never look forward to facing the Hawks even though I always feel it should be a much easier game then it ends up being. They can beat literally anyone on any given day.

@ we need size not more small wings. Cam would be an upgrade over Kev but not fill our holes… not my kinda take. Sabonis can do this in the regular season. Do you remember how worn out he got in the actual playoffs in 23’ by the end of the series? He’s a small but tough center.. we have to load up on size for a more physical playoff environment ..

@ Lauri is expensive but I like the idea. I was thinking more of a Bam & Duncan package for anyone but Monk, Fox, Keegan, Keion or Sabonis. Give up Lyles, 2 1st round picks, 4 second round picks, cash, Kev, Carter and maybe even Keegan or Keion if that’s what it takes tbh… It would give us an identity as a big physical team who gets fast breaks. There are only 3 REAL contenders to win this seasons championship: OKC, Cavs and the Celtics. Teams like the Knicks, Rockets etc. are really good teams, but there definitely is a gap between those 3 i mentioned and the rest. The way things are looking OKC will be just running through the west, maybe i will get surprised though

Cavs aren't going anywhere in the playoffs. They'll work hard to win 60 or 65 games but Darius Garland will always limit them on the defensive side, they just cannot put out a lineup that will overcome the Knicks or the Celtics. I bet even the Magic give them enough trouble to consider getting an upgrade for Garland.

There’s no way you get through four series with that much demand on your starters. I predict they upset BOS in an epic 7 game rd 2 series. And then lose to CLE in 5 without any gas left. @@jayvon221I hate when people do that. Teams aren’t nearly the same anymore. People forget the Cavs defense held up in that series and actually really held the Knicks to low offensive ratings and points. Cavs just couldn’t score it was simple. They had osman, Rubio, Stevens as their bench guys (none in the league anymore) and a much worse version of Okoro, Mobley and even Allen garland and Mitchell to an extent. Both teams are night and day different now.
