Fiber Spider..what you seem to realize, although some of us have been crocheting most of our lives, you understand we don’t know the pattern and so, you show each step clearly. “Other” demonstrators often assume we should know what to do. Kudos to you and thanks for your tutorials. I still don’t understand why you aren’t sponsored. 🤷🏻‍♀️ You’re awesome! 💕💕💕

My sister and I spent part of our quarantine learning to crochet, and your channel came heavily recommended by several of our friends. After hammering out some practise granny squares, I dove into this shawl project (at my sister's insistence) and immediately fell in love with it. I've since made a few shawls from this pattern as well as the Top Down Filet Mesh and Granny shawls. I appreciate your patience and demanour; it feels like we're spending quality time together while playing with yarn! I've since started recommending you on my channel and hope some of my subscribers found their way to you. :)

Oh my gosh you are such a clear and concise teacher. I just started to crochet and have been looking for an easy pattern. I watched your video many times until I got it right. No fault of yours I kept getting the count wrong. I think I messed up at the beginning and kept stitching in the wrong first stitch but by really paying attention and counting each row I think I finally got it. Thank you.

I have never crocheted before, and found this amazing neon and black Halloween kind of colored yarn and wanted to make something with it, following your tutorial I was able to make two beautiful Halloween shawls for my daughters. Because it doesn't lay flat at the top. It actually looks a little more like a hooded scarf, but I am so thankful for your very reasonable and simple instructions. I will definitely be looking for more tutorial! Thanks a bunch! Be blessed and caffeinated and awesome!

*HEY EVERY ONE * I have followed this twice, and found if you chain 3 in the middle it will ease the odd roll over from the first few rows. Hi Craig, I appreciate that, as you showed, I can turn over my shawl top to combat the very irksome way that top down shawls refuse to lie straight across the top. However, I don’t want a “collar” on my shawls and wondered if anyone else commenting on this tutorial has any tricks & tips that will help me achieve a nice straight edge across the top. Sorry to be picky, but you know how it is, I like what I like. Thank ou for all you’ve taught me, I appreciate you, I really do! 🥰

I'm not terribly talented, I tend to work and learn slowly, but you knew in advance how anxious I get with that last stitch and said to breathe. Hi again Spider Man I’m so glad that you kept this wonderful tutorial on. I’ve made several shawls and now I’m back to this one for a change of pace because I’ve had 2 falls and I v slowd down somewhat. But it’s so nice to have this pattern again.. Thank you so much.
