Nice loadout! Well reasoned. I always love hearing what people's thought process is when choosing their loadouts. One thing I pretty much always bring in now with my group are the stun grenades. They are an absolute godsend, as they can stun bile titans and give your team time and take off the pressure dealing with them. You can pretty much guarantee that the 500kg Strike will always land under their feet, make aiming at their head with EATs much easier, etc. The loadout I run most of the time with my friends: Primary: Sickle Secondary: Whatever I feel like. I rarely pull it out anyway. Grenade: Stun Stratagems: Laser Dog, Grenade Launcher, Railcannon, 1+ of my choice (usually 500kg or Eagle Rocket).

I rock pretty much the same loadout. Sometimes I will switch out the orbital rail cannon for the eagle bombing run. Just because of the cooldown time on the rail cannon. The bombing run will take out chargers if hit right. The sickle is solid but I use the fire shotgun. The shotty for me works better on skreachers and stalkers. I noticed the sickle was overheating before it would kill a stalker. Also shotguns knock back close enemies. The gaurd dog is a must imo o. Suicidal missions and above. If I die and can’t recover my guard dog man it’s really tough. Guard dog turns those higher missions down a couple of levels.

Me personally my two favorite main weapons of choice is The punisher and the Uzi for grenades are impact grenades and for stratagems are Gatling, mortar, gard dog rover and 120mm.

I always feel iffy on the orbital rail cannon. The long cooldown has led me to choose the Eagle air strike instead, mostly as a better way to deal with bug nests quickly. On bug nests, i really like auto cannon, but backpack laser friend is too strong.

I use: Engineer armor (more grenades) Liberator rifle Machine pistol Regular grenades Gatling sentry Airburst strike Machine gun or Autocannon Tesla tower/mine thrower/HMG turret for the lolz depending on my mood. On more serious missions id switch this to eagle airstrike

My main load for bugs is orbital rail cannon, 10 mm rocket pods. Then either machine gun and dog gun for under 6. If I change the machine gun for the recoil I'll bring a turret. Oh and the first high explosive grenade for throwing at screacher nests. Seems to handle everything and delete chargers and titans.

Personally i prefer running the slugger for bugs over the sickle. Its much more effective at popping heads on any non heavy enemy as it penetrates medium armours (its maximum 4 headshots on the toughest bugs). Unlike the sickle which cant pen medium armour like the bile spewers head. the sickle is 100% my main for bots though, it can pop the weakspot on any non heavy bot and its very easy to do so with its huge mag and no recoil! Both guns however really shine because they allow you to run more varied support option as they can take care of small and medium threats. Also prefer the redeemer as a side arm. Great on single shot for popping baby bugs, and great on full auto to mag dump a medium bug in a pinch. For bots it can take down a beserker in about 1 mag as well, which can be super useful. Other than that; this is basically my loadout as well

Still a newbie, I like the disposable AT launcher for easy use against big bugs. Primary shotgun, secondary rarely used - I'd like to see if this revolver really has some pen, that would save me from the red armored ones. But I'll have to farm some more to get this Commisioner. Love the laser drone backpack, it adds on DPS and attention on other directions. Still can't decide beween Eagle and Orbital strikes, which to upgrade first. As for the grenade, I have this impact nade for a short while, and while useful against bug belly and walker robot driver, I couldn't destroy spawner with it.

I like running the arc thrower instead of the disposable AT. I don’t like impact nades so I take the hot ones. The guard dog is replaced by the mortar. It kills my less then the guard dogs

My standard loadout for high-difficulty Bug missions are Airstrike, Railcannon, Recoilless, and EATs. Chargers and Bile Titans cower in my presence. 😂

My go-to bug loadout is pretty general purpose Scythe or liberator if it's a hot planet Redeemer in case things get too close Impact grenades Engineer light armor Arc thrower which is what I hold most of the time for everything except bile titans jump pack orbital rail cannon for bile titans (or precision strike if you're accurate, because it'll one shot titans too, has shorter cool down, and can still be used on anything else other than a singe target) 120mm to help remove hives, if not soften them up Makes things super easy, but does rely on teammates to also help with bile titans when rail cannon is on cooldown.

Arc thrower, shield pack, 500kg, and either railcannon or EAT-17s. The only reason you need a primary is to pry hunters off of you.

this is pretty similar to the build i run for the bugs, and similar to the one i run for automatons, i just swap out the primary and secondary weapons for the scorcher(for the bots) and redeemer for both, swap the backpack out for the shield against the bots, and instead of the 500kg, i just use the regular airstrike instead

This build seems to be all about playing as Rambo rather than a team. Especially with the guard dog that's a straight up team killer. You'd be better off with having a team that is specialised for each type of unit rather than a team full of jacks and no masters. 2 to focus on heavies and 2 to focus on the lights. Means you can even split into 2. Heavies carry strats to deal with light bugs and lights have strats to focus on the heavies.

It is a very independent build, but majority of the teams I’ve been in know how move around the guard dog and it’s an invaluable addition. Ultimately, there’s definitely some room to talk squad come as well though ☺️

Anyone else getting terrible PC performance? I got a RTX 3080, 16 GB RAM, and i7-11800H and my fps drops down to 30-40 on level 7 difficulty or higher

I have pc that has 3x worse performance than yours, and i get the same fps as you, but on level 9 I am going on optimized settings, with ultra quality upscaling on 1080p tho
