26:49 Wouldn’t it be easier to have laid the paper horizontally, as in following the reed lines left to write? That way you could also align the seams to where a reed is. But yes, the seams hidden under the strips also helped! I also think the wooden side could be either covered in another paper strip, or even pained a fun color. The light strip inside could be brighter? Well done though, this looks so good!

I'm not sure if it's because I'm earlier than normal, but the audio seems to be really strange in the video. Strangely muffled and then it seems also sped up somehow, is it just the encoding? I've never been this early to a video! Anyways, it's just a little distracting, but not ruining the video. I just would want to know myself haha Edit: the wall sconce is legitimately amazing! You really did that!!!

OMG THANK YOU I AM NOT CRAZY!! i literally checked my playback setting because I thought I had it on 1.5 speed by accident. and everything sounds so weird and I am also having a hard time watching this because of it. I am probably going to have to turn off the audio and just watch it with subtitles.
@ghoulianna61882 ай бұрын
Apparently it's a feature on KZbin. Go to settings in this video and turn the "stable audio" off. idk why I can't turn it off, but I think it's a problem with android users maybe? anyway, it worked with other ppl here in the comments

I wanted to give you a chuckle. I told my husband, and I’m sure he already knew anyway, that he could have his lumber cut at Lowe’s for no cost. He hemmed, he hawed, he really didn’t like the idea but he didn’t want to tell me, but the best thing he could come up with was that they might not cut it accurately lol. We have downsized into a tiny house and don’t have a lot of the big tools we used to have, and he does not have the tools needed to cut lumber very accurately if it’s not a simple 2 x 4. He is making a piece of paneling to go into his mother’s house that needs to be fairly precise and sanded nicely. However, his manhood was challenged, and that was that LOLOL. He’ll be slashing that poor piece of wood with whatever he can rig up, and we’ll just hope it turns out OK.

That light is stunning!!! So cool! The feeling of a DIY going right is always a great feeling. For the ottoman, I think adding another stretcher 2x4 closer to the bottom and connecting that to your top stretcher with like 2 vertical connectors wouldn't hurt. It may help prevent sagging over time and distribute the weight if someone sits or stands on it.
