No. This isn't entertaining more and feels on purpouse. Whistling is the most basic beginner feature that after 5 years and several games they ALL STILL SOMEHOW DON'T MAGICALLY KNOW. It's not funny. It feels like a waste of time and I'm done with it.

It's not my first time. I took a 6 month break from them at one point because every video was just 20 minutes of shitty gameplay. they seem to think their ineptitude draws people in. but really it's their banter and senses of humor. so after so many years, being able to know that it's pterANOdon, not pteradon, and what basic creatures eat meat vs berries, and generally just more competence, i would enjoy. i don't need them to be primo gamers, but for heaven's sake, year's of staying bad at something is less entertaining than years of steady improvement along the way. again, it's their banter and senses of humor, along with their hijinxes along the way we enjoy. I watch lots of other gaming channels where they're hilarious and do silly stuff, while also actually being good at the game.

@@Sir-Complains-a-Lot yea, doing basic things well should be standard. like building a taming cage out of at least stone should be standard. industrial forges and cookers. building bases near useful resources to allow actual progress. high level tames and using kibble. egg farming for it. breeding. there's so many basic mechanics to the game they just don't even bother with, because they think it'd be boring. but really it enriches the game, allowing them to have more fun, after all these years, and actually do things better. they could get better at the game, be hilarious, and actually understand how do some more fun cool stuff.

It's mind-blowing that after 5+ years of playing a game that some of you A. Don't know how to set animals to passive on the fly B. That you can hold something in a bird/dragon and knock it out after numerous episodes where you worked on doing the same thing C. Lack basic problem solving skills that some animals have that would have let you realize the simplest fix to your animals attacking the pigs would be to move them away from the pen. Why you leave them right next to you makes my head hurt. I love you guys but good grief. I want to find a laminated ARK cheat sheet for controls and knowledge to give to you because it's so painful to watch sometimes. I don't even play ARK and it hurts me.

Hey Neebs, there are wooden and stone cliff platforms that are absolutely perfect for these cliff turrets of yours.

Turrets have a limit to how far down they can point, the bigger the platform the lower they would need to build. Thats why hugging the wall with a couple foundations will allow more line of sight on the targets. With platforms they would have even more targeting trouble than what the plants have demonstrated.

After seeing this opening... you guys really need to look into the S+ elevators. Appsro: Heavy turrets & Auto turrets can use charge batteries for power, if you can get/make any. Useful for having pocket turrets. Also, holy cow, Thick, Simon, and Dora: LEARN TO WHISTLE PASSIVE BEFORE YOU TRY TO TAME! S+ walls also have an option to pick them up instead of breaking them, useful for carrying portable taming pens.

Perhaps you missed the first parts of valguero. I doubt they want anything to do with S+ as appsro and neebs' first base was destroyed by S+. There was an update or lack of update and 90% of the base dissapeared. If it happened to me i wouldnt touch S+ again either.

Y'all really need to bind "set all passive" to a key, that would solve like 90% of all problems that happen when things get chaotic (expecially the flyers), also binding "dino go to location" and point away from the area does wonders, please thumbs this up so they hopefully see this super helpful tip that will save the lives of many a dinosaur. ^^

Quick Tutorial: Hold T button down-> Left Click on the stance you need while holding it down. Whistle Passive = It won't attack even when attacked Whistle Neutral = It will attack only if you or itself gets attacked Whistle Aggressive = It will attack anything on sight Whistle Follow me = won't calm a dinosaur down, so don't use it. Use the Whistle Passive instead.

How do you guys not know the difference between passive, neutral, and aggressive yet? On passive a dino will never attack. On neutral a dino will only attack when a wild dino attacks you or your structures and dinos. On aggressive a dino will go for anything all the time. GUYS. Seriously. There is a point at which stupidity is funny. There is another point at which stupidity is just stupid and not funny. You have reached that point today. You have to know by now how to make your tames behave. You have had episodes on how each of you figured out how to do that. It's not funny to watch someone screwing up something they know how to do, for no reason other than to be a screwup. There's no joke there. And the soundtrack can only add to a joke, not replace one. Edit: Maybe, because you play so many games, you need suggestions on how to get interesting stuff going in Ark? It IS essentially an unfinished, un-filled-in game. I wouldn't disagree that WC shares some blame for your difficulties in making content. Here's a couple of ideas for you. 1. With your number of people, you can actually do dino army play. Each of you take a set of dinos and use them for different things in these fights. Y'all ride yuty's and pigs and command squads of megatheriums against the broodmother, for example. Or tame a water army and go clear the alphas in the subocean, build an underwater base you can FT to, and tame up squids and stuff down there. *Yes you will have to give up on the "Iunno whistle commands and order groups" schtick. But it's totally worth it to see you guys succeed in major gameplay activities.* 2. You could also do fun stuff like running the roll rate space launcher as a passenger launch system - have passengers jump out at the top of the arc and pop wingsuits to fly to their destinations. ....The Culo Del Mar Shuttle Express? Just build another ramp at the landing spot for the roll rat and jump it back. But whatever, it's definitely time to up your game in Ark. Definitely.

Has no one suggested the Megatherium (Giant Sloth) for the spiders? You need 2-3 good ones to clear out the entire area, and end up with Chitin for days. It would be easier on the resources (as well as quicker) to use the Megatheriums instead of.... whatever Neebs is building.
