The eBay buyer ALWAYS seems to WIN! 😡❌

I sold a pair of black leather gloves before Xmas, they were BNWT and the biatch that bought them messaged me to say I had mis-described as they were not black but green ! She even took a pic of a used pair of green gloves as evidence to get a refund. I messaged her back to say I was on to her little game and would be reporting her to eBay, then she left me terrible comments on my unblemished feedback score. It wasn’t a massive amount of money, but as you say it was the principle of the matter. I rang eBay and told them if they didn’t remove the feedback and give me my money back, I’d close my account. They removed it and I kept the money, but I still wonder if they did something to my account as sales have slowed down.

Had a few returns form ebay, its allways a few days before the deadline though, unfortunately buyers are allways in favour.

Hi Dan, the noisy clippers and hair pulling, sounds like the cutting blades, need tightening! It is usually 2 screws on the underside of the clipper blades, just try that, if you don't want to throw them! Lol😂😅😅

I'm a private seller; I sold a camcorder on eBay and buyer opened returns request case two months after purchase, stating 'there's a red dot on the screen'. I offered the buyer a £50 partial refund just to move on from it, but it's ridiculous the lack of protection for sellers! That item was in perfect working order when I sent it out but after two months of use, the buyer's still able to get money back from me. My hand was forced because the buyer left me negative feedback which was not good for my profile!

Someone pls explain to me how it make cents (sorry the pun) : item $9.50 free shipping, courier $7.5 cost to seller, so $2 includes cost of item, packaging, & profit, hardly worth the time & effort. If selling hundreds of items, stock holding cost a fortune !

For an item like that with high postage costs I’d say you need to be charging postage to the buyer

Just had a return of some Levis 501's, after two weeks buyer says they have a patch on the crotch and attached a photo, jeans have been returned they are clearly not the same jeans as listing photo that I sent out, but just refunded him and reported him, no point asking Ebay as they always side with the buyer.

@@thesellingdan tried before over some trainers and Ebay sided with them, they bought mine which where nearly mint and returned their battered trainers, clearly wasn't the same.

I did that with some jeans there was a button missing took a picture of it but forgot to put it in the description and the customer acted like they should not have to look at the pictures and wanted £10 off to get a button

Brilliant video as usual. Wondering if you can help, how do I sort the settings in eBay to stop getting addresses that are classified as out of area so I then incurred higher postage costs as a seller? Hope you can help!

I think you can change the settings for the area your postage charge covers. Usually Ireland isn’t it that is out of the classified area and EVRI charge more 👍 I’m 90% sure that this can be changed in postage settings

I've recently had my first return on a item claiming the jacket was purple not pink when it was obvious looking at the photos it was pink. Ive since received the item back and now the buyer as left me a poor review claiming it was not as described. Anything I can do to get this review corrected or deleted?

You can ask them for a revision to the feedback and if they refuse you can also ask eBay to take it down if unfair 👍
