I have lived there for about 1.5 years at Gulberg main market. It is true that authentic and old Haji khan baba hotel is situated at exactly very next street to this hotel. 2 times every week we would go there and would take atleast one of the meals either chapli kabab, fish or chicken piece including fritters. The taste of fish, chicken piece and fritters were good. As I belong to kpk, I would must say that recipe and taste of chapli kabab was not authentic at all. It was full of onions and masalas, and less minced beef. As it was fried in hydrogenated oils inplace of beef tallow, taste of kabab was destined to be mild as beef tallow has its own taste. Despite its flaws , it was great experience to eat them every week as it was best available beef chapli kabab in Lahore. I would say that I will definitely eat again if visit Lahore in near future.
