In hydroponics, nutrients are involved. If you're a science student, you'll know that chemicals are present in the soil as well which are then absorbed by the plant by the roots. To state that organically grown produce doesn't use chemicals, in the raw sense of the word, would be ignorant.

Thank you. The speaker is also the Founder of The Leaf Hydroponic Farms. He's a microbiologist and plant pathologist by education and was an Indian Civil Servant. He belonged to the IFS, his batch was 1980 and he retired as an Additional Secretary from Government of India.
