Hello Ed; I will tell you a funny story about "us" that happened in about 1981, see if you remember it. I was a trucker that worked for "Bob Yancey" at Yancey Machine tool. I picked up behind the cam shop where you had some machine tools and old highway patrol cars parked.This time is different. Bob Yancey came down to do some business with you. I brought my wife and 3 1/2 year old with me for some family time because I was always gone.Bob and us were staying in the same hotel. Bob invited my wife, son and I to go to lunch with him and you.I said yes because I have loved cars since I was 12.Ed, you were one of my idols, so I was very excited. We went in the backdoor of a restraunt, that I think you ate at quite often.I think you had a friend or two with you.We went to a large round table booth where we had to slide to the back from each side, very private.In the confusion of the round booth, when we settled down for lunch, My son "Larkin" was sitting next to you. He was a wild 3 1/2 yeat old and I was freaking out. My wife was sitting next to him and then me.Everything is fine and then: You are telling a story and Larkin reachs over and starts eating off "your plate". I could not reach him and thought I was going to have a heart attack. You let it go, like the professional you have allways been. Take care, Michael

Are Isky still making camshafts from the original location, or have they been bought out, like so many other old names?

Still in the original building. Some are still even ground on cam grinding machines Ed made 80 years ago. Alex Taylor recently made a video touring the facility
