Dick Cavett will make at least 3 or 4 appearances in 83 and 84 There is a video on KZbin on the Johnny Carson show from 1984 and Johnny mentions Edge of Night and Dick Cavett on the air during his monologue.

I remember that ABC promo that you added to the end of this Edge episode. ABC didn't even mention Edge! This was a long time ago, but it still makes my blood boil.

​@@MrCraigblaze ABC stinks plain and simple stinks to the person that was running their daytime progamming at the time. Edge of Night was the only soap that ABC didn't own either so they were not obligated to promote it. Didn't they own Ryan's Hope by 1983?
