Just noticed that there's a SECOND pharaoh's head in the penthouse. The penthouse with the worst security in the world. Even in 1983, there were ways to lock an elevator door from the inside of a residence.

This version is missing Calvin & Didi's subplot. They have two scenes. The first scene is Didi showing up at Calvin & Gavin's place, learning Calvin is making dinner. It occurs after Mike's first scene, just before Markham breaks into the penthouse. The second scene with Calvin & Didi occurs later, when they've finished a meal and get romantic before they are interrupted by Gavin coming in from the theater. This scene occurs after Nancy arrives at the Karr home to find Mike asleep on the couch.

So the introduction of Preacher's father is supposed to make us more sympathetic to Preacher, right? Well, I am finding myself like old Daddy Emerson much more than Preacher. We know the dad is a rapscallion, but Preacher is perpetually annoyed and has a chip on hi shoulder. Binging episodes is making me like Preacher even less.
